we entered the company, we were welcomed by a beautiful woman
"hello Mr. Santiago, have a good day "
the more we walked the more people greeted him and gave me dirty looks ,at a certain point an old gentleman arrived and stopped us and said something to Felipe , I didn't know exactly where we were going but that place was huge
I was enlightened by the beauty of this place, it had a very high roof, and there are lots of offices, in the initial part there is the reception, then walking you find a sort of square where there is a café and other restaurants or something like that , then on the right there is a lift
with that strange man we entered the lift , there were a lot of Floors , the man clicked the button that take him to floor 16 , while Felipe and me were going to the highest floor , the 20th .
while we were going up , the man started talking with Felipe , I didn't really heard nothing , I was looking around the lift , even the lift was huge it was all made of gold
then I heard something from them that made me curios
" so Mr Santiago, are you going to go to the business trip or not? please tell me I have to make sure to clear your schedule"
business trip? where's he off to? I hope he goes to the business trip so I can rest , he always give me headache when we're together
" I don't know , I have still a lot to do about the situation with my cousin and my mom , I'll tell you soon as possible" Felipe replied
I'm really curious about his cousin and his mom, I remember that he said to me that his mom send here his cousin to spy on him
does he have problems with his family? after all I have it too, I don't know who is my dad ,my sisters don't even talk to me and the only one is my mom but she's everyday at work from morning to night so I don't really see her
then the man went out the lift and said goodbye to Felipe
we still have 4 floors to arrive, this was longer than I thought
"so what do you think? I saw you looking around from when we arrived here " Felipe asks me but he wasn't looking at me like he usually do
it was really strange but I decided to reply anyway "this place is awesome, it's really big and the people here are really kind to you, I think they appreciate your work even If I don't know what is it "
Felipe looked at me and smiled but it didn't last long "they don't love me , they are kind to me only because I'm their boss , If I wasn't they won't even look at me "
after that we remained silence till the 19th floor and I decided to break it first
"Felipe , can I ask you something?"
he nodded and I continued talking
"what's with your mom? is everything okay?" even if I know I shouldn't have asked but I had to ask , I was worried , he was looking very sad after talking about his cousin and his mon to the man of before
he was about to reply but the door of the lift opened, we arrived and he took the opportunity to not reply and change the discussion
"alright, do you know how to work as a secretary?" he asked me and I shake My head as meaning to say no
"I'm clueless about it , I know only that I have to take appointments for you and that's it , I saw it in the dramas I watch" I said while laughing
"okay , then for today I'll show you how to do but for the next days you gotta work hard "
i nodded and we started walking to his office
"your table is literally right outside my office so that you can be fast when I'll call you"
he showed me my "office" while pointing at it, right after showing it at me , he opened the door and entered his office
it was really big and there a lot of space , in the room there was a long and tall shelf with work books , then right next to it , in the centre , there was the desk and his chair
beside the door there was a little sofa and right in front of the desk there was other two chairs .
then we went out and I sat on my chair , Felipe couldn't teach me how to work because he was busy with other things
but I decided to try anyway
many people kept asking me where Felipe was but I also didn't know , I just replied that he was busy with work
at first it was difficult but as time passed I got better at it , the employers gave me papers to write on the PC and to organize it , other employers gave me papers to stamp or I had to do a little research about imporant argoments
I also made appointments for Felipe and got his schedule so I could leave him rest and also work hard
it was already dark , I got no work to do now but I was waiting for Felipe , he's the only one who can give me a ride anyway
finally he came "you're still here? i thought that you were already done with work"
"yes I already finished I was waiting for you " When I said that I notice his tired eyes opening and shining
"ah um , so let's go , I'll send you back home" he said while picking his phone from his desk while I was preparing my purse
"you're ready? let's go " he said and we went in the lift , there was only us but on each floor that stopped it filled up with people and we were still at the 14th floor
then again it stopped and filled up with other people, but it was already full that in the 13 th floor Felipe had to move closer to me
and in the 11th floor we were both in a corner and the last person who came in made Felipe fall in front of me with his hand on the wall of the elevator
we were so close , I was watching his face , he looked really tired , but when we made eye contact his eyes were literally shining again
we got to the ground floor, we all got out of the elevator, Felipe and I went straight to the car and as usual he was driving while I was sitting next to him, even if I didn't do anything today I felt tired
I also slept in the car for a while and woke up when we arrived
i went out and I don't know why also Felipe went out from the car
he smiled at me "good job today....Ines wait a second , stay still!"
I did as he said and waited for him
he went behind the car and took a giant bouquet of red roses from the hood
he gave it to me and said "Ines... let's go on a date " ...
