Chen Zhaosheng walked on the water, step by step leaving the surface of the lake.
Just as he set foot on the shore.
In the lush forest to his left, a rustling sound emerged.
"As expected of the Chen Family's hidden dragon, your strength is indeed great."
A deep voice rang out.
Chen Zhaosheng frowned and glanced sideways.
He saw a lean and pale figure, shirtless with black hair draped behind, a red iron half-mask covering his face, holding two icy long blades, stepping out from the depths of the forest.
"I thought it was someone pretending to be a ghost."
With eyes as indifferent as water, Chen Zhaosheng spoke calmly: "You shouldn't have come to this trial."
"You know me?"
Chen Chou'er raised an eyebrow.
Chen Zhaosheng spoke coolly: "A servant who tried to change their fate by having a child to climb high in the Chen Family, born as a lowly offspring, how could I not know?"
Upon hearing this, Chen Chou'er's eyes narrowed, his entire demeanor radiating danger.
