Terrified, the guards shifted back from her while the people began panicking. Seraphina moved closer and placed her hand on her chest, checking if she was still breathing.
"Mother!" Lily called out loudly and tried to snatch Irene's grip away from her wrist. Irena pulled her back to herself gently, holding her tightly. "Let me go!"
"She is dead!" One of the travelers said to the other as he pointed at Lily's mother who was on the floor. "We are all going to die!" He added dryly.
"The Queen killed her, she was fine before she gave her that deadly herbs." Another man said, his voice laced with anger.
Seraphina lowered her ear to her chest and then looked at Lorien. "She is alive, I need hot water."
"She is dead! You killed her!" Another woman accused and they started yelling loudly.
