Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: The Chosen of the Order

---

The smell of ash still lingered in the halls of Asher's mansion. Soldiers moved quickly, carrying the unconscious bodies of Finn and Tony through the shattered corridors, their boots echoing with every step. Healers followed behind with urgency, whispering incantations and inspecting wounds, hoping to salvage what they could from the night of chaos.

But while Finn's body remained motionless, his mind had already transcended into a higher plane a dimensions far beyond their reality. The void of infinity.

He floated in a realm that defied all logic — a sky without ground and stars that flies in light speed, filled with celestial dust and golden clouds that shimmered like diamonds in sunlight. His feet touched nothing, and yet he walked forward instinctively, drawn by an unknown force. The atmosphere was thick with energy, humming with power that resonated through his bones as he walk to the end of the bright void where the light and light speed shooting stars come from.

Ahead of him were seven seated colossal beings, each radiating a unique divine aura as each of their form light up the void. Their forms were god like but advanced — as if evolution had carved them from the essence of time and existence itself or as if they were the once who existed before time and existence itself. Their chairs showed Their autority and splendor. Their eyes glowed with galaxies; their robes flowed like stardust; their voices, when they finally spoke, thundered through the very fabric of the realm.

"Finn Cassius."

The name echoed like a divine verdict.

Finn's breath caught in his throat. He wanted to respond — to speak, to run, to do something — but his body trembled uncontrollably in the presence of such beings. He thought he was dead, and is being judged to determine what his after life will be like .

"You have been chosen," one of them declared, its voice like a thousand chimes harmonizing into speech. "Chosen to become the Champion of Exoterion — protector of your world against external chaos. Against gods. Demons. Angels. And what lies beyond."

Finn's eyes widened. "W-What? There must be a mistake… Am not the one you are looking for . I'm not a warrior or some... Protector am just a boy."

Another of the beings stretched it's hand forward, he looked like the rest but they were all different in their unique way, its wings spread like galaxies unfurling.

"That is why you were chosen."

Finn blinked in confusion.

"We do not choose those who hunger for power," the being continued. "For those who seek power are the pride. But the unwilling — the humble — are the ones who bear it with purpose. The one who never seeks power is the one least likely to abuse it. That saying was created eons ago and has never been wrong."

A third judge, whose form shifted fluidly between masculine and feminine, smiled kindly. "If you are as to who we are. we are the Order of Existence — the balance between chaos and harmony the existence of a being far more powerfull than gods. We have watched your heart, your wishes. Your desire to heal your mother… to save others like her… and to be a hero to human kind."

Finn dropped to his knees, overwhelmed. "This… this is too much. Humanity. How and what am I saving humanity from I don't even know what to do."

Another of the seven spoke, their voice layered with the cries of time itself. "You must journey across your world and collect the Seven Sacred Relics, each born from a fundamental truth of existence. Only then will you fully awaken the Champion within."

The divine symbols appeared in golden fire before him:

1. The Sword of Judgment – symbol of Justice

2. The Wings of Freedom – symbol of Liberty

3. The Shield of Hope – symbol of Perseverance

4. The Halo of Truth – symbol of Enlightenment

5. The Cloak of Mercy – symbol of Compassion

6. The Gauntlet of Courage – symbol of Sacrifice

7. The Crown of Balance – symbol of Dominion over Chaos and Order

Each artifact held unimaginable power. Combined, they would make Finn a being capable of standing against gods.

"Why give someone like me power when I don't need it. Isn't that just a waste of resources"

"You humans are to narrow minded. For example if you give a poor drunkard money he will spend it uselessly but give a rich merchant money he would spend it wisely"

"But… why now?" Finn whispered. "Why choose someone like me at this moment when I have never ever heard of you people in history.?"

The one of the beings opened his palm showing fin a golden scale filled with light hot energy at the right and dark cold energy at the left, its silhouette towering like a mountain. "Because the balance has been disturbed" it said as the dark energy tilted downward making the scale unbalanced. "A demon… known as STEE'ZZE… has been summoned onto your world."

"His power," another added gravely, "is… Transcendent — beyond anything your fragile dimension can measure. We thought he would lose his will to use it's powers after giving it compassion and pity just to restore balance, but for some reason it started using it's powers again and If left unchecked, he will tip the cosmic scale and consume all that breathes and exist."

"Then why not fight him yourselves?" Finn asked, his voice cracking.

"We chose not to intervene directly into little matters in mortal planes," said the first judge. "Our influence must pass through a vessel. A guardian. That… is you. If not we would not be the order of existence but the rulers of existence."

Finn took a breath, still shaking, still overwhelmed. "I… I'll try."

Another judge smiled. "Trying is the first act of courage."

The last judge words started to echo in fins mind and With that, a blinding white light engulfed him. A code etched in divine runes whispered in his ear, embedding itself deep in his soul. As it faded, he heard their final words:

"Awaken, Champion."

---

Finn's eyes snapped open slowly as he slowly got up from his nap after stretching his arms and rubbing his eyes he decided to check where he is.

The ceiling was stone. The air was cold. He was back in the mansion — in one of the recovery chambers near the underground dungeons. His vision adjusted slowly, revealing Tony slumped in a chair next to him, bandaged but alert.

"Wha… Tony?" Finn rasped.

Tony sat up immediately, placing a steadying hand on his brother's shoulder. "You're awake… thank goodness"

"What are we doing here"

"I don't know but I had this strange feeling of dieing and seeing a bright light. But I guess it's just my imagination"

"No, I don't think so.I had a dream," Finn murmured. "No, it wasn't a dream. It felt… real."

Tony's eyes lit up. "What did you see?"

Finn recounted everything — the divine realm, the Order of Existence, the relics, and the demon Stee'ze.

Tony's jaw dropped slightly. "The Order of Existence… I've read about them in ancient texts. They're said to be the first forces that emerged when the universe was born — entities that ensure neither good nor evil dominates."

Finn nodded. "They said I'm supposed to stop a demon named Stee'ze… and protect the world from external threats."

Tony leaned in, whispering urgently, "Then we need to get you out of here. You can't fulfill your mission locked in Asher's mansion. We'll need to escape — and find those relics."

Finn looked around. "But how? The mansion's still on high alert. And I'm not even strong enough to lift a sword… I don't even know where to start from and how to get the four relic, And I just want to live a normal happy life"

"Don't say that you don't know what you have!" Tony said cautioning his brother " with this kind of power we can heal our mother's illness and the plague that spreads in our village and if you don't know where to find the relics you can always try to ask those order of existence in your sleep right after we get out of here."

"Can't we just asked Lord Asher himself to let us go."

"How can you be so trusting, you realize why we are in this dungeon right?"

"Yeah, you're right" Fin said in a sad way.

Tony's eyes narrowed. "Then it's time to train. You're no longer just a sick boy with a dying mother. You're a Champion now."

They heard footsteps approaching — likely one of Asher's trusted guards. The brothers fell silent, exchanging only a look that promised change.

Their journey had begun.

---

Meanwhile, Asher stood in his study, staring out the broken window as rain poured down on the battered courtyard. Soldiers were repairing the damage, but his mind was far away — focused on the demon within him.

One of the Gaurds came holding a little bottle." We have what you order my lord" the gaurd said as he dropped a bottle of blood.

When the gaurd left the inner demon,Stee'zz asked "WHAT IS IN THE BOTTLE"

"It's the blood of the boy not the strange one, I want you to absorb and tell me his memories"

"WHAT OF THE OTHER ONE DON'T YOU NOT WANT TO KNOW THE SORCE OF HIS POWERS "

" I don't want to take any risk until I fully understand what he is and what he is capable of, by investigating him.

Because ignorance is what differentiates the foolish from the wise."
