It the last working day of the week, I just finalized a deal with an investor.
" It's was nice doing business with you Mr Frederick" the investor said as I walked them down the the first floor.
" It's my pleasure Mr Williams, looking forward for more deals" I said as his car came, he got in and his chauffeur zoomed off.
" Congratulations Mr chairman, this will expose our products more" my assistant said which I agreed to with a nod. I got back to my office but I stopped in my tracks when I saw my secretary on my office desk posed seductively. " I wish to warm up your bed Mr chairman, just the thought of you inside me is killing" I heard her say, I was insanely mad at her, my assistant walked up to her and dragged her off my desk. She was drained of blood when she noticed my presence not daring to raise up her head.
" Throw her out! and inform the janitor to come up now" I instructed my assistant who pulled the slut out. My wife has once said she doesn't feel comfortable with my secretary but I just let it slide. When the janitor came I went into my break room but at the process of her cleaning she received a call.
' Mama, am short of cash.... Yes I sent him my savings last week... ma! You don't have to scare me with your health...yes yes yes.... When I get my pay I'll book an appointment with the doctor... Okay I'll get back to work now.. hummm" I heard her say and continued with her work.
When my assistant came back I asked him for the resume of the janitor
" Mr chairman do you mean the one who just left here" he asked
" Do you have a problem with that" I latched out
" No no Mr chairman.. it's.. it's just that I happen to know her" he stuttered
" Did you get her into my company through other means without a proper resume" I questioned him, truly I was transferring my aggression on him
" No Mr chairman, I'll get you her resume" he said and storms off.
In five minutes he came back with the resume but I've lost interest in it, despite having sanitized the office I still feel irritated.
" I need a change of desk" I said to my assistant
" I'll get it done sir"
"Go through the resume and if she's merited fix at the secretary post.... I don't know but something is off about her, look into her background" I told him and he nods before going out.
I heard my phone buzzing to see I got message from my long time friend Antonio J. ' Am in town bro ' it reads.
I decided to call him but a knock came from the door. " Come in"
"Mr chairman Victor Lin Frederick, the business genius bachelor with great looks, how are you doing dude" Antonio J said as he came in.
" I just got your message" I told him
" You're a jerk as always, I sent you that about two hours ago men_ let's go chill some where probably a club with some beauty queens" he said but James who just walked in gave him a slight punch on the shoulder
"Am sure you wouldn't want to spend a night in jail" James sarcastically told Antonio J who didn't get the underlined meaning.
" You should go home to your wife James and let us singles mingle, ha...." he was saying but James cut him off. I didn't bother responding to their banter, these two has always been this way from high school days.
" Who do you refer as single? Vic is no single but you" James told him
" What! My prince charming is hooked and I know nothing about it, baby tell me it's not true...babe ah ah gush... you're so mean to think you broke my heart" he cried in pain because I pushed him off me when he tried hugging me.
" You're pathetic now I know why you're still single. And I am not hooked like you said I am married" I told him and he opened his mouth to scream but I picked up my desk phone to call security, with that he regained himself.
"You freaking got married and you didn't let me know and James I thought you love me" he said but James rolled his eyes at him
" Who's bold enough to win cold demons heart? Antonio said
"Attorney VIDA" James told him
"Ha! The female demon herself.. am sorry it won't repeat itself" he was saying but I glared at him
"It seems you'll be on the next flight to Africa" I threatened him, I can do it and he knows it.
"No thank you Mr chairman. But seriously how can you both marry each other?" Antonio J said
" And why can't they?" Asked James
" James, your wife and you are good because you're cool and she's hot, but with Vic and Vida they're hell and volcano combined together. Did you see attorney Vida's last interview just one word from her everyone of paparazzi couldn't speak ha! I still remember how she won against Jux the great attorney four years ago and you say those two are a good match, please I'll be ware of Vic from now on" he said, he has always acted this way with my wife since college days. Despite being her senior she was smart and brilliant enough to put him in his place, he brought it upon himself anyway. My assistant came in looking anxious but refrained from speaking, I gave him signal to say whatever it is.
" Mr chairman some copies of the last project files are missing and it was traced to Ms Ann, the last secretary" he said making my anger to rise again.
" That idiot, I want her before me dead or alive" I said looking at James who has the best tracking device company in the country.
" If I should ask dude, going by the name Ann is she the same as the blond hair lady from five years ago who spiked my drink at the end of year dinner party" Antonio J asked.
" She spiked your drink and you didn't say anything, to think that my wife has told me she's not comfortable with my secretary and now you" I said
" Why didn't you say she spiked your drink and how did you find out" James asked
" She was on my bed when I woke up and she admitted to have spiked my drink not after I've shocked her up threatening to kill her" Antonio J said.
" I think she's a spy Mr chairman " my assistant said and I think so too now am worried how much information and legal document she might have, as it has been six years she has worked as my secretary.
