Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Hero

The shouts from behind couldn't halt his determined stride. How should he deal with this despicable guy, Tanaka Keio? He shook his head to clear his cluttered thoughts. He was too lazy to employ any tactics against such a petty scoundrel, so a direct physical approach to win him over with "virtue" seemed most efficient.

His sneakers made a deep, resonant "thud" with each step on the corridor floor. In the quiet classroom where only a few students whispered, the footsteps sounded particularly abrupt. As the distance closed, they became clearer, each footfall seeming to land on the students' hearts. They stared at the source of the sound, involuntarily holding their breath.

Asakura calmly walked up to the classroom podium, step by step. A powerful aura settled over the environment, making it eerily quiet, as if an invisible force had swallowed all surrounding noise. In spring, unless I speak first, no insect dares to make a sound.

He stood still, smiled at the students, and uttered some not-so-gentle words.

"I've heard that recently Yukinoshita-san seems to have been harassed by a classmate named Tanaka Keio. I wonder if this classmate is present today?"

"Don't slander me! Do you have any evidence?" Tanaka Keio stood up and retorted timidly. Feeling the strange looks from those around him, he felt a prickle of embarrassment.

"Oh, it seems this classmate is indeed Tanaka Keio. Well, let me ask you once in front of the whole class, after your confession was rejected, did you maliciously retaliate against Yukinoshita?"

"Of course not! I think it's you, Asakura, who's trying to attract attention with this kind of sensationalism."

Calmly observing the still stubborn Tanaka Keio, [Mind Reading] had already revealed the filth in his ugly heart. Asakura slowly walked from the podium to stand directly in front of him. At that moment, Yukinoshita Yukino had just arrived in the classroom and was witnessing the scene unfold.

You will always encounter all kinds of bad things and bad people in life, so when it's time to flex your muscles, you should give them a punch.

A dull thud echoed as fists connected with flesh. Tanaka Keio clutched his stomach and nearly collapsed to his knees. The severe pain sent spasms through his body. Overturned tables and chairs scattered books across the floor, causing students nearby to scream and scramble to avoid the chaos.

"Tanaka, you know I never cared whether you admitted to your crimes or not. My purpose here is simply to punish stinking maggots like you."

Punches and kicks rained down like raindrops, and Tanaka Keio cried and begged for mercy, "Sorry, I was wrong! I shouldn't have bothered Yukinoshita after my confession failed! I'm shameless and despicable!" This only intensified the disgust of the surrounding students, who began to murmur amongst themselves about him.

Ignoring the constant wailing, Asakura single-handedly dealt with Tanaka, helping Yukinoshita vent her grievances. Noticing a student nearby who couldn't quite meet his eye but was watching him with a fanatical gaze, he didn't stop his movements and asked casually.

"Hey, over there, what's your name?"

"Hey, Brother Asakura! I'm Inoue Taro, please give me your orders!"

"Alright, Inoue. There is something I need you to do for me. From now on, keep a close eye on things. If anything like this happens around Yukinoshita again, I want you to tell me immediately."

"Hey, Brother Asakura, I will dedicate my life to doing this well!"

Hey, hey, hey, I just asked you to be a lookout, buddy.

Asakura kicked Tanaka, who lay like a dead dog, then ignored him and formulated a backup plan involving the eager student named Inoue. There were too many ignorant people in this world, and he couldn't always arrive in time, so having a junior to provide intel would be much more efficient.

Standing at the door, Yukinoshita Yukino felt a whirlwind of emotions. She opened her pink lips to try and stop him, but a sob caught in her throat, preventing her from speaking. Joy, sadness, emotion, and worry silently invaded her heart, making her eyes well up.

So this is what it feels like to be saved. Thank you, my Hero.

...

The farce concluded with the arrival of teacher Hiratsuka Shizuka. The individuals involved were summoned to the teacher's office for questioning. The terrified Keio Tanaka confessed the whole truth, no longer daring to lie, because he genuinely felt that Asakura hadn't taken him seriously at all and had dealt with him as easily as crushing an ant.

After learning the full story, Hiratsuka Shizuka severely reprimanded Tanaka and instructed him to take a leave of absence from school for a while to reflect on his actions. He nodded in agreement and practically fled the teacher's office.

"Asakura, you really know how to cause trouble for me." The hot-tempered Hiratsuka Shizuka used her arm to lock Asakura's throat, her warm chest pressing against his body, allowing him to fully experience its softness and elasticity. The boy wisely surrendered and leaned back, letting Hiratsuka-sensei do as she pleased.

"Hey, I know I was wrong, Hiratsuka-sensei. But it's because you asked me to look after Yukinoshita, otherwise, I wouldn't have made such a big fuss."

"Ha! You mean it's my fault?!"

"That's not the case at all! It's thanks to Hiratsuka-sensei's wisdom and foresight that Yukinoshita was able to avoid being bullied. What a relief!"

"Hehe, I'll let you off the hook this time. Also, Yukinoshita, I've told you many times, it's not shameful to ask others for help when you have problems. I hope you can understand this truth, so that your sister won't have entrusted you to me in vain." Hiratsuka Shizuka turned and began to lecture Yukino, but the girl simply nodded calmly, her gaze occasionally flicking towards Asakura.

"Hey, I'll pay attention next time, Hiratsuka-sensei." Yukino hesitated for a moment, then turned and bowed deeply to him. The loose collar of her school uniform revealed her snow-white, flawless skin. She stood tall with a straight back, her slender waist and hips displaying graceful, smooth curves.

"Thank you, Asakura-kun."

"You're too polite, Yukinoshita-san. After all, we're friends." Asakura waved his hand nonchalantly, telling her not to be so formal. He only stole a couple of quick glances at her with his clear eyes before looking away. There was nothing he could do about it. A gentleman had to let it go.

After sensing his lingering gaze, she didn't immediately stand up or tighten her collar. Instead, she bowed even deeper, as if wanting the boy to see her longer and more clearly. Her round, cute ears turned a delicate shade of pink.

...

After resolving the matter, Hiratsuka Shizuka took the two back to the classroom, instructed them to return to their seats, and then began a class meeting.

"Regarding some recent events, I believe everyone is already aware of them. The nature of this incident is extremely serious. As for Tanaka, he has been ordered to suspend his studies for a period of time. I don't want this kind of bullying and revenge to happen again in the future, otherwise, I will certainly not tolerate it easily next time. Do you understand?"

"Understood!" Everyone was clearly intimidated by Hiratsuka Shizuka's anger and wouldn't dare provoke her again.

"Well, the Golden Week holiday is approaching, so you should all make travel plans in advance and don't miss the deadline to return to school for classes." The rare good news livened up the dull classroom again, and everyone around began discussing where to go for fun during the holidays.

At this time, Asakura was chatting happily with the two girls. Akane Nanao and Kotonoha Katsura both complimented him on how majestic and handsome he looked today and took photos to commemorate the event, which made him blush slightly. In the distance, Yukinoshita Yukino looked at him gently, like a girl filled with affection, waiting for her beloved to return.
