Chapter 55 - Chapter 55: First time entering SAO

After a wonderful nap embracing his wife's soft and plump body, followed by a sumptuous dinner at the Katsura residence, Asakura-kun proposed saying goodbye and heading home.

In his mind, the purpose of today's visit had been largely fulfilled.

Although both mother and daughter were somewhat disappointed that Asakura-kun wouldn't be staying the night, the powerful connection they had shared today was enough to satisfy them. They simply hoped for more time to nurture their relationship in the future.

Kotonoha Katsura boldly hugged and kissed Asakura-kun in front of her mother and sister, then, her face flushed, she hurried back to her room to cool down.

The clever Kokoro followed suit, running over to give him a kiss, then letting out a clear, bell-like laugh and chasing after her sister to show off.

Mrs. Katsura watched the beautiful and harmonious family scene tenderly, feeling extremely satisfied and happy. This family finally felt like home.

She swayed her hips slightly and took light steps, accompanying Asakura-kun to the door, though a feeling of reluctance tugged at her heart.

Mrs. Katsura embraced the young man tightly, her ripe and ample figure pressing against him.

"I don't know when I'll see Asakura-kun again."

Asakura-kun gently stroked her soft, boneless waist and said, "I'll make more time to visit you, Madam. If you ever feel lonely, you can contact me anytime. I'll try my best to come and see you."

"Asakura-kun."

"Hmm?"

"I very much love you!"

Mrs. Katsura looked at this young man who always moved her to tears, her eyes as gentle as water. She offered him a final kiss with her soft red lips, the lingering sensation a sweet reminder.

...

After bidding farewell to Mrs. Katsura in a friendly manner, Asakura-kun began his journey home.

Although there was a small incident during the goodbye, it was only to the extent that his palms got a little damp.

The infatuated lady became a little carried away in her excitement, so Asakura-kun had no choice but to use his "magic hand" to send her to cloud nine, but the price was the lingering moisture on his palms from the ensuing "flood."

To clear his head of the romantic memories, Asakura-kun stopped by a convenience store before heading home to buy snacks and a fast-food bento for tomorrow.

Wanting to fully enjoy the last day of his vacation, Asakura-kun was too lazy to cook.

He might as well just grab some quick food to fill his stomach and save more time to experience the new world of SAO.

This was the only day during the five-day holiday that Asakura-kun could dedicate to gaming. For a teenager with internet addiction, this was a form of torture!

Of course, the charming girls and beautiful ladies had temporarily eased Asakura-kun's internet withdrawal. It could only be said that there were always other things in the world more captivating than games.

The LED screen on the roadside displayed the evening news. "The first full-dive virtual reality game called SAO, designed by the genius game designer Akihiko Kayaba and produced by the electronics manufacturer ARGUS, will officially launch its first version at 9 am tomorrow. Players will no longer be restricted by level and can explore more of the world of Aincrad. Stay tuned."

At the end of the video was a message: "This is a game, but it's not play." - Sword Art Online developer Kayaba Akihiko

It seemed the operators of SAO were putting significant effort into its promotion, even news channels like this were running their advertisements.

With its perfect game quality and excellent promotion, SAO was poised to become a massive hit.

Asakura-kun happily thought of his master-level abilities in the game, which felt like a cheat code, and his mood brightened even further.

His phone dinged, signaling a new message. He opened it to see a message from Asuna.

"Asakura-kun, have you seen the news about the SAO version update going live? Don't forget to log in and level up together tomorrow!"

Asakura-kun took a few photos and sent them to Asuna.

"I already know. Don't worry, I've prepared some snacks for a full day of grinding."

'Yeah, my mom seems to be in a good mood lately. She gave me the day off tomorrow. I'm so lucky, hehe.'

"Maybe something good happened to you. You've been working so hard, Asuna."

"Sigh, after hearing what Asakura-kun said, I feel like everything is fine now."

Asakura-kun thought it was strange. Had he said something unusual? He always sensed a deeper meaning in Asuna's words.

"Ha, then we'll be online in SAO at 9 am tomorrow morning."

'Yeah, see you tomorrow!'

...

A beautiful day starts with playing games. Asakura-kun woke up energetically, washed up, and ate breakfast. He also sent a message to Asuna, reminding her to add him as a friend after she logged in.

After getting ready, Asakura-kun put on his NerveGear helmet and lay down safely. After the familiar "Link Start" sound, his avatar logged back into SAO.

At this time, the hourglass countdown in the sky was about to end, and a more precise digital time countdown appeared before his eyes.

He opened the friend system and added Asuna as his friend, only to find that she was already online. He sent her a message, and they agreed to meet at the Town of Beginnings' gate.

"Hey, Asuna, you're really early."

"Well, so are you, Asakura-kun."

The two smiled at each other, everything said without words.

Then, they followed the path to the plains where the blue boars spawned and began fighting monsters and leveling up.

Since this was Asuna's first time playing this kind of full-dive game, she was initially a little awkward with the controls.

Fortunately, she was extremely talented and quickly mastered the skills under Asakura-kun's guidance. She swiftly took down a wild boar with a single sword strike, displaying remarkable strength.

Asakura-kun couldn't help but click his tongue in admiration. If he didn't possess his real-world martial arts prowess, he would probably only be at Asuna's level.

The two of them focused on grinding and discussing various techniques within SAO. Time passed quickly, and the once clear sky had begun to dim. They checked the time and realized it was already noon.

"I didn't expect time to fly by so quickly, Asakura-kun. Let's grab some lunch first and then continue."

"Okay, our levels are increasing very quickly. We can head to the next map in the afternoon to continue leveling and obtaining better gear."

Asakura-kun opened the menu, intending to log out, but couldn't find the button to disconnect from SAO. He felt a strange unease.

Asuna also exclaimed, realizing she couldn't log out either.

They clicked on the option to contact a Game Master in the menu, but there was still no response. The two realized that there must be some kind of bug in SAO.

If players wanted to log out of the game on their own, they could only do so through the operation menu, which meant that both of them were now trapped.

Asuna instinctively reached up to remove the NerveGear, trying to pull the helmet off her head, but it was no use.

Players were now unable to control their real bodies because the NerveGear device intercepted all commands from the brain to the body via the medulla oblongata.

Suddenly, the bells in the Town of Beginnings began to ring continuously, and beams of teleportation light illuminated the town square. All the players who had logged into SAO were being teleported there.
