Chapter 20 - Tianjin Champion.

Ling Tian stepped onto the stage, his eyes fixed on the announcer, a confident smile spreading across her face. "And now, the challenger from the humble village of Qingyun, Ling Tian!" she declared, her voice booming through the arena. "He's about to face off against the champion of Tianjin, the undefeated Wei Mao!"

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, their faces a blur to Ling Tian as he scanned the sea of onlookers. Jin Shè's voice was laced with concern as he whispered, "Wei Mao, Ling Tian, be careful. He's not to be underestimated."

Ling Tian's gaze locked onto his opponent, his eyes narrowing as he took in the giant warrior's imposing form. Wei Mao, the Giant Warrior, stood towering over the stage, his bronze-like skin glistening in the light. His wild, black hair reached his waist, and his piercing golden eyes seemed to bore into Ling Tian's very soul. The traditional Chinese armor he wore was adorned with intricate dragon patterns, and his presence was imposing, to say the least.

As Wei Mao jumped down from the stage, the ground shook beneath Ling Tian's feet. The Giant Warrior's roar was like thunder, sending shockwaves through the arena. The specter in the crowd was caught off guard, his popcorn flying out of his hands as he exclaimed, "What the...!"

The air was electric with tension as the two opponents faced off. Ling Tian's eyes locked onto Wei Mao, his mind racing with strategies and techniques. He knew that this would be a fight unlike any other.

Wei Mao, on the other hand, seemed unfazed by the crowd's reaction. His gaze was fixed intently on Ling Tian, his eyes burning with a fierce determination. The Giant Warrior's massive frame seemed to grow even larger as he cracked his knuckles, the sound echoing through the arena like a challenge.

The stage was set, the crowd was on the edge of their seats, and the battle was about to begin.

The question on everyone's mind was: could Ling Tian take down the undefeated champion, Wei Mao?

Ling Tian charged forward, his fist glowing with fire energy. Wei Mao barely moved, yet somehow managed to grab Ling Tian's fist mid-air. The giant's grip tightened, causing Ling Tian's hand to tremble in pain.

"You're... surprisingly strong for someone so small," Wei Mao remarked casually.

Ling Tian gritted his teeth and attempted to pull his hand back, but Wei Mao's grip was unyielding. With a swift motion, the giant warrior twisted Ling Tian's arm, sending the younger man flying into the air.

The crowd gasped as Ling Tian crashed into the ground, his arm twisted at an unnatural angle.

Time ticked by, and Ling Tian struggled to stand, his face contorted in pain. His right arm hung limp at his side, clearly dislocated. Undaunted, he charged forward again, this time unleashing a flurry of kicks. Wei Mao blocked each strike with ease, his expression unreadable.

As the minutes ticked by, Ling Tian began to tire. His movements slowed, his breathing labored. Wei Mao seized the opportunity, landing a devastating kick that sent Ling Tian crashing into the ground once more.

The crowd watched in horror as Ling Tian struggled to stand. His body was battered and bruised, his clothes torn and bloodied. Yet he refused to yield.

With a fierce cry, Ling Tian launched himself at Wei Mao once more. This time, he aimed a punch at the giant's face. Wei Mao caught his fist in mid-air and squeezed. Ling Tian screamed in agony as his bones began to break.

The crowd erupted into chaos. Spectators shouted and pleaded for the battle to end. Ling Tian's clan members begged him to stop, but he refused.

Wei Mao released his grip, and Ling Tian fell to his knees, clutching his broken hand. The giant raised his foot to deliver the final blow. The crowd held its collective breath, expecting the end to come swiftly.

Instead, a blinding light enveloped Ling Tian. His body began to glow with a golden aura. The crowd shielded their eyes, unsure of what was happening.

When the light faded, Ling Tian stood tall. His injuries had healed, and his eyes blazed with newfound power. His movements were faster, his strikes more precise.

The crowd erupted into cheers as Ling Tian launched a flurry of attacks. Wei Mao blocked each strike, but the giant was beginning to tire. For the first time, he was forced to take a step back.

Ling Tian sensed victory within his grasp. With a fierce cry, he unleashed his ultimate technique: Phoenix Strike. A wave of golden energy erupted from his body, striking Wei Mao with incredible force. The giant stumbled back, his expression one of shock and surprise.

Seizing the opportunity, Ling Tian delivered a devastating kick to Wei Mao's stomach. The giant doubled over, gasping for breath.

Ling Tian stood over his opponent, his chest heaving with exhaustion. He raised his foot, ready to deliver the final blow.

The crowd held its breath as Ling Tian's foot came crashing down. Wei Mao attempted to block, but the strike was too powerful. He was sent flying into the air, landing with a thud in the distance.

The crowd erupted into cheers as Ling Tian stood victorious. He had defeated the undefeated warrior, Wei Mao. All the crowd's mouths hung open in terror, even Jin Shè stood up and looked at Ling Tian still standing.

"How... how did he do that?" someone in the crowd whispered.

Jin Shè's eyes were wide with shock and awe. "Ling Tian... he's a monster," he muttered.

The crowd continued to cheer, their voices echoing through the arena. Ling Tian stood tall, his chest heaving with exhaustion, his eyes blazing with pride and triumph. He had done the impossible, and he knew that nothing would ever be the same again.

The silence that followed was deafening. The crowd's cheers slowly died down, replaced by an eerie silence. All eyes were fixed on Ling Tian, the young warrior who had just pulled off an impossible victory.
