Chapter 180 – Huntress and her sister
The war was nearly over.
The mundane soldiers were all dead. Only the smart ones—the ones who knew victory now depended solely on their leaders—had stopped fighting.
And so, only the true battles remained.
The clashes that actually mattered.
The battles of the real monsters.
Even Eric, Rouge, and Malrik stopped after carving through every elf in their path. There was simply no one left to kill.
Neko lounged atop a throne of black frostfire. Ester sat beside her, perched on a throne sculpted from living shadow.
"Think they'll win?" Neko asked, grinning lazily.
Ester's smile mirrored hers. "Of course."
There wasn't a shred of doubt in either of their voices.
Belzebuth and his demon legions were still locked in battle with the enraged dragons. It was brutal. Violent. Earth-shattering.
But it was already decided.
The dragons were few.
The demons?
Legions.
And Belzebuth wasn't the broken little monster he used to be. Not anymore.
