Noa didn't want to leave Arthur to a guaranteed death.
His reasoning wasn't connected to Arthur's status, or him being a Doom God's brother.
Slaying the protagonist was one of his most crucial plans.
But everything had its own time.
Why would he kill the chicken that laid gold eggs?
Noa quickly decided what to do.
He neared the blacked-out Arthur, putting him onto his shoulders.
"You better thank me for this," he said, sprinting out of the chamber.
The constant noise and collapsing walls impeded his movements.
With wounds and weight pressing him down, Noa's speed was affected.
Nevertheless, he was agile.
He had no problem avoiding every huge piece that fell on him.
"This is fun. It feels like I am playing a VR platformer game," Noa mused.
He jumped from one crumbling floor to another, each step calculated—the danger scared him, but it also made the experience even more thrilling.
Spending his remaining energy and five long minutes, he ran in different directions.
