The scream wasn't real.
But the echo was.
Ji-hoon sat up, drenched in sweat. The mirror glinted.
His reflection—too still.
His breath caught. Not again.
He threw the blanket aside, stood up. The lights flickered.
The walls… moved.
No, not the walls. The shadows.
Then the voice came. Not aloud. Inside.
"He's almost here."
"Who?" Ji-hoon asked the dark.
"The one who sees through every version of you."
A memory flashed. His mother. Bleeding. Smiling.
"Be careful of the mirrors."
Ji-hoon ran to the door. It wouldn't open.
He's not dreaming. He's inside.
The glass across the room cracked. From the inside.
That's where it begins.
A figure formed behind it. Black eyes. Familiar shape.
Not the other me. Something older.
Ji-hoon stepped back. The glass whispered:
"Welcome back."
