Episode 1 – The Whispering Shadows
The night was unnaturally quiet, the air thick with something unseen. Arjun lay in bed, his body covered in cold sweat, his breath shallow. He couldn't move. A strange pressure pinned him down, like invisible hands pressing on his chest. Then, the whispers began.
At first, they were faint—just a breeze slipping through the cracks in the window. But then they grew clearer, distinct, calling his name. "Arjun..." His eyes darted to the darkest corner of the room. A figure stood there, tall and flickering like smoke, its hollow eyes locked onto him. A voice, not from its mouth but from the air itself, spoke:
"It's time."
Arjun gasped and shot up, suddenly able to move. He turned the lamp on. The corner was empty. Just a nightmare. Or so he thought.
Episode 2 – The Temple's Call
Still shaken, Arjun stepped outside for air. The village was disturbingly still. No wind, no sounds, not even the chirping of insects. The silence clawed at his skin. Then, he saw them.
Dark figures stood near the ancient temple, their heads slightly tilted, as if listening. The sight alone sent a shiver down his spine. He turned to go back inside—until he heard it.
"Help me, Arjun..."
His mother's voice.
His heart pounded. He knew it wasn't possible. She was gone. But the voice sounded so real, so desperate. His legs moved on their own, carrying him toward the temple. The doors—sealed for 10,000 years—were slightly open. A thick, black mist slithered out, curling around the ground like fingers reaching for something.
Then, another voice. His sister's. "Please… I need you…"
The whispers turned to cries, pulling him in.
