Noah and Michael had a round of sex in the bathroom. He was gentle with his thrusts. So gentle that Michael got mad and yelled at him to move like he meant it.
He said,
"If you move slowly like that, you'll just be reminding me that this is our goodbye sex, so do it harder. Make me forget for a moment and..." He bit his lip, his eyes tearing up again. "Just do it like you mean it."
Noah wanted to be careful that was why he was being gentle. But he realized that a little rough sex wouldn't put the baby in danger since they had been doing so for so many days.
If so then he didn't need to be careful now. But he wanted to savor every moment he held Michael in his arms and feel his thrusts more deeply.
He hoped that, even if Michael ended up doubting him after waiting for so long, he would remember the sex they had that day, the feelings he conveyed through his thrusts, and make him remember that he would return to him one day.
