Adalyn successfully covered Logan with the blanket and thought it was done there but the next moment, the weak man from earlier dragged her down to his bed.
It was as if she had blinked her eyes and opened them just to meet herself below Logan. She was caught off guard the moment it happened but when she saw his face, she felt bored.
"What are you doing?" She asked him, sounding so uninterested, which challenged Logan.
Adalyn wasn't scared at this point because she wasn't thinking about that bloody night. She just wanted to do her duty as a wife to the beast above her at the moment.
Logan said nothing and just did what he had been wanting to do ever since he saw her in his room. He pressed his nose on the side of her neck as if smelling her.
Adalyn felt his warm breath on her neck and wasn't inviting such behavior so she placed her hands on his chest to push him off.
