Chapter 94 - Chapter-87 105,000 corpses extraction

Arthur returned to his territory once again, his destination clear—the Summoning Portal. This time, he carried something far more valuable than just resources: 105,000 corpses, collected from two major battles. The first was from Chapter 63, yielding 15,000 corpses, and the second, far more recent and devastating, from the clash with Goblin Vice Commander Kaldor, netting a staggering 90,000.

Without wasting a moment, Arthur stepped up to the Summoning Portal. With a wave of his hand, he removed all the corpses from his inventory and scattered them across the open grounds. In an instant, the earth was blanketed with goblin and monster remains, forming a grotesque mountain of the fallen. The scene was grim, but in this world, corpses were not just death—they were resources.

Ding!

A familiar system prompt echoed in his mind.

[Do you want to extract 105,000 corpses?]

"Yes," Arthur responded without hesitation.

[Attention, Lord. Your Legendary Talent is now in use.]

As the prompt faded, the corpses began to shimmer, one by one, until the entire mountain was glowing with a brilliant light. Moments later, the bodies disintegrated into particles of energy, leaving behind neat piles of loot that stretched across the grounds like a battlefield turned treasure trove.

Then the final system notification appeared:

23. 5,000 gold rank assasin cards.

24. 5,000 gold rank Guardian cards.

25. 5,000 gold rank healers.

Arthur's eyes widened the moment the final list of rewards finished displaying before him. His jaw nearly hit the ground.

His gaze swept across the massive loot sprawled across the summoning grounds—neatly stacked piles of weapons, shimmering armor, mountains of materials, and glowing summoning cards forming shimmering towers of potential power. It was like standing in the middle of a treasure vault from a king's dream… only it was all his.

His mouth hung open as he muttered in disbelief, "This… this is way too much."

He took a step forward, still processing what he was seeing. "One million and twenty-five thousand unit cards… not even counting the rest of the loot."

Arthur blinked a few times, as if he suspected the system might vanish it all as a cruel joke.

Then, slowly, a huge grin crept across his face—his surprise melting into a burst of raw, uncontainable joy.

"Hahaha! With this much…!" He raised his hand in excitement, "I'm sure to collect enough points to exchange for almost everything I've wanted in the Event Store!"

He let out a victorious laugh, standing atop the mountain of loot like a conquering warlord. His heart thumped with anticipation.

Without wasting another second, Arthur swiftly stored all the loot into his inventory—everything except the summoning cards.

His eyes landed on the 500,000 Commoners Cards. Without hesitation, he tossed them all into the glowing portal.

As the cards vanished into the swirling energy, the portal's light intensified, pulsing with brilliance. Then suddenly, an unexpected system prompt flashed before him:

[Large number of summoning cards detected.]

[Lord of Starblade, do you wish to spend 10,000 gold to instantly summon them all at once?]

Arthur blinked in surprise.

"This is new..." he murmured. In all his experiences, he'd never seen a prompt like this before.

Still, he gave a firm nod. "Yes."

With a radiant flash, the portal exploded in golden light, and in a matter of seconds, 500,000 Commoners appeared one after another—neatly arranged and kneeling before him like waves in a tide.

Their voices echoed in perfect unison, reverberating through the territory.

"We greet the mighty Lord!"

Arthur's cape fluttered in the wind as he stood before the enormous crowd, the air brimming with awe and unity. He nodded solemnly in acknowledgment.

Then, turning slightly, he called out, "Joseph."

A tall, middle-aged man with a composed face and silver-edged spectacles approached swiftly. Dressed in the formal garb of the **Administrative Department**, he bowed respectfully.

"You called, my Lord?"

Arthur pointed to the summoned commoners. "Take them for registration. Categorize their professions. Assign them to their respective departments accordingly. Those without any specialization—send them to collect stones immediately. And don't forget to inform them about the reward system."

Joseph adjusted his glasses and gave a confident nod. "Understood, my Lord. I will personally oversee the registration and deployment. All capable hands will be sent where they are most needed. The reward policies shall be relayed as instructed. We will not waste even a single body."

He bowed once more before turning sharply and beginning the large-scale coordination operation, calling over his aides.

Arthur then turned to another man approaching from the side—a sturdy figure with soot-stained gloves and a toolbox slung over his shoulder. His eyes burned with the ambition of a craftsman.

"Robin," Arthur said.

"Yes, my Lord!" the man responded, straightening his posture immediately. Robin, the head of the **Creation Department**, was always ready for action.

"I want more houses built in the residential district—*as many as you can manage*. There will be more people arriving soon."

Robin grinned, cracking his knuckles with enthusiasm. "You got it, Lord Arthur! I'll triple the construction teams and make sure we don't fall behind. By sundown, you'll see new neighborhoods rising."

He gave a respectful fist-over-heart salute and dashed off, already shouting orders to his team.

Arthur looked around at the organized chaos and couldn't help the small smile forming on his lips.

His city was growing...

As Robin turned to leave, Arthur raised his voice once more, halting him in his tracks.

"Wait, Robin—how's the progress on the wall upgrades?"

Robin paused, then turned back with a firm nod, his expression sharpening with pride and focus.

"Ah, the Platinum-Rank Wall Project, my Lord," he said, placing a hand on his chest. "We've completed the foundational reinforcements across the northern and eastern sections. The first layers of mithril plating have already been installed, and the monster stone inscribers are embedding the energy absorption runes as we speak."

He stepped forward slightly, voice steady and confident.

"We're on schedule. If the weather holds and no major events interrupt the work, the entire territory will be surrounded by your specified Platinum-grade defensive barrier within five days. And once it's complete… nothing short of a siege army or a natural disaster will breach our borders."

Robin gave a short salute, eyes burning with conviction.

"Rest assured, Lord Arthur—no threat will get through those walls once they're done."

Arthur gave him a small nod of approval, his eyes glinting with satisfaction.

"Good. Keep me updated on the progress daily."

Robin bowed low. "As you command, my Lord."

With that, he turned and strode off, already barking efficient orders to the master builders under his command. The hum of construction magic and the ringing of enchanted hammers echoed once again across the heart of the growing territory.

Arthur activated his communication skill, his voice echoing in john's mind.

"John, report to me at the central square. I have new instructions for the equipment department."

Not long after, the sound of steady footsteps echoed across the paved pathway. John, the head of the Equipment Department and a master blacksmith clad in soot-streaked leather and reinforced gloves, approached swiftly. His broad shoulders and stern face bore the marks of years spent at the forge.

"You summoned me, Lord Arthur?" he said, giving a respectful nod, his voice like a low hum of hammer on steel.

Arthur nodded. "Yes. I'm planning to establish a dedicated sub-division within the Equipment Department. It will be exclusively designated for tailors—those skilled in clothwork, armor layering, uniform production, and magical threadwork."

"Hena will be the head of all tailors. They will report to your department. Their workshops will be positioned in the northern quarter, close to the main forge and supply lines."

John listened intently, then crossed one arm over his chest, bowing slightly.

"Understood, my Lord. I'll begin immediate preparations to section off the northern facility for textile and fabric operations. We'll set up reinforced looms, mana-thread spinners, and enchantment benches."

He looked up, a glint of admiration in his eyes.

"Even threads and cloth can be forged into weapons and legacy, if placed in the right hands. Leave it to me, my lord, i will prepare a good working area for them."

Arthur gave a firm nod of approval. "Good. I'll leave it in your hands, John."

Arthur looked at John with a small smile and added,

"And also, there will be more sub-divisions within the Equipment Department by the end of this event."

John raised an eyebrow with interest as Arthur continued,

"I've just summoned five hundred thousand more commoners. Among them, there will undoubtedly be skilled blacksmiths, craftsmen, and artisans. Go speak with Joseph—he'll provide you with a detailed report on how many are available. Also, with this much manpower, I want you to ramp up coin production significantly."

John's eyes widened slightly in surprise but quickly shifted into a confident grin. He gave a respectful nod, folding one arm across his chest again.

"As expected of you, Lord Arthur. You truly plan five steps ahead of the rest," he said, his deep voice filled with admiration. "I'll coordinate with Joseph immediately and pull out every capable smith from the new arrivals. We'll begin testing their skills and assigning them where needed—weaponry, armor, tools, and of course… coin forging."

He paused, his expression turning serious.

"With the sudden population boom, increasing coin production is crucial for maintaining the flow of trade and resource allocation. I'll establish dedicated forges for currency minting, and expand the metalwork lines to meet the demand."

Then, with a small smirk, he added,

"And who knows, perhaps one of those five hundred thousand will be a prodigy worthy of forging alongside me."

Arthur chuckled. "Make sure you don't scare them away with your 'welcome' hammer."

John gave a low, hearty laugh. "No promises, my Lord."

With a firm nod, he turned and strode away with purpose, the air around him already humming with the scent of steel and fire yet to be born.

Arthur then called hena.... After she arrived, Arthur smiled at her and said.

"Hena i have created a sub division in the equipment department. You will be the head of that division, you will lead all the tailors in the Territory. I have already told john to prepare a working place for your tailors in the north where equipment department and blacksmiths are located. As clothes are Basic needs of humans, i have high hope for you.

Hena's eyes widened for a brief moment before she lowered her head slightly, placing a hand over her heart with reverence.

"Thank you for entrusting me with such an important responsibility, my Lord," she said, her tone respectful yet steady with pride. "To be appointed as the head of the tailoring division is both an honor and a challenge I will gladly accept."

She straightened her posture, a focused gleam in her eyes as she continued.

"I will begin organizing the tailors immediately. My first task will be to assess their skill levels and allocate roles according to their strengths—seamstresses for uniforms, artisans for fine detailing, and weavers for material preparation. I'll also coordinate closely with Sir John and the blacksmiths to ensure our operations run smoothly side by side, and that no resource goes to waste."

Her gaze turned thoughtful for a moment.

"With the number of new recruits joining our territory daily, uniforms, underarmor, storage gear, and even ceremonial outfits will all be in high demand. I assure you, Lord Arthur, under my leadership, the tailoring division will meet those demands with both precision and pride."

She offered a slight smile, one of quiet determination.

"I will make sure this division not only supports our warriors but reflects the strength, unity, and identity of Starblade Territory through every stitch and seam."

After saying that she bowed to Arthur once again and after asking for permission to leave, she headed towards north.
