Feldway POV
"DRILL OVER!! RETURN TO YOUR CHAMBERS NOW, SOLDIERS!!" I shout, my voice echoing across the sky. Thousands of winged men and women salute, then march back into the palace in perfect formation.
It's been a long time...
I stop counting the years after the first thousand. After that, it just feels pointless.
I still remember one of Veldanava's random decisions—out of nowhere, he creates an entire legion of lower angels. One million, just like that.
He hands them out like toys.
I get the most—about 150,000 under my direct command. Not that I ask for it.
Technically, I command the entire army as I have the second highest authority. Second only to—
"Look at my white-haired twin!!"
...him.
Before I can react, he starts rubbing his hands over my abs.
"Kuahaha! I bet you're thankful for this perfect body. You'd never have had this back in your old world!"
He's wrong.
"I actually had a similar build," I say flatly.
Veldanava freezes. "Wait—seriously? I thought you were one of those good-for-nothing... 'otaku' types!"
"I wasn't really into that stuff. I had a job. Other than the ears, face, and the whole lack-of-gender-gear situation, this body feels close to my original."
Honestly, I still can't believe I'm stuck like this. My core's too powerful now—my old fake body couldn't handle it.... Or so Veldanava and Michael told me.
"Dang! So you were a handsome dweeb from the start?!" he says, eyes wide.
This guy... How does he even know these terms?
"Boss, what are you doing here?" I ask. He usually locks himself away in that weird office of his doing... God knows what.
"I know what I'm doing, and it's none of your business to know what I'm doing, Feldway~~" he singsongs.
Right. I forget—he can read my thoughts.
"Well! As for why I'm here—there's something I need to show you! Abracadabra Teleportina!"
And in a blink, we're back in his office.
"What now?"
"Behold!" he grins, pointing dramatically at a screen. "Ugly lizards!"
I squint. "Are those... dinosaurs?"
No. Not quite. They look like dinosaurs—but there's something off. Crystalline growths jut out from their spines.
And then I realize...
"Those are magicules," I mutter.
"Bingo!" Veldanava beams. "After your fight with the Titan, a ton of magicules spilled into the atmosphere. Some extinct creatures soaked it up—mutated. Gained a major edge over other life. And now they're way too strong for humans to deal with."
Humans? Wait—
"How long's it been since the rain?"
He shrugs. "Hmm... about three million years, give or take?"
Three million...? Damn. No wonder everything feels off. Longevity messes with your sense of time... Huh..
"So, these magicule-mutated dinos are messing up the ecosystem?"
"Exactly! You're sharp as ever." He grins. "You know what that means, right?"
I sigh. "Cleanup duty, huh?"
He winks. "That's my boy!"
I fold my arms. "So... when do I start? And am I solo, or do I get help?"
"Take the entire army if needed. You can bring a few of the Primordial Angels too—two, maybe three. Any more would be overkill... though honestly, it's already overkill with just you," says Veldanava, resting a hand on my shoulder.
"GO, MY GREATEST SOLDIER! TAKE CARE OF THOSE UGLY LIZARDS!!" he shouts with dramatic flair.
...Not gonna lie, I actually prefer dinosaurs over dragons.
But I'd never say that out loud—
"I can read your mind, Feldway~~" Veldanava chimes in, grinning.
I sigh.
"Time to exterminate," I mutter, then teleport away, not wanting to deal with any of it.

3rd Person POV
A group of velociraptors chases some angels through a thick jungle. The angels reach a cliff and quickly start climbing.
The raptors follow, scrambling up the rocks. But the angels at the top are ready—magic circles form in their hands, and they fire spells down.
The velociraptors are blasted, some falling to their deaths trying to instinctively escape, others torn apart by the magic.
The formation and tactics were given to the angels by the one leading the operation. The angels don't know what their commander looks like—only that he's said to be closest to their Creator.
But it doesn't matter. They were given one order: eliminate the invading carnivores known as Velociraptors.
Somewhere Else
An army of 20,000 angels surrounds a herd of Triceratops and Brachiosaurus grazing peacefully.
They aren't aggressive towards human, but they're still invading species nonetheless.
The order is clear: eliminate them.
Magic circles flare to life beneath each herd—
and in an instant, they're erased from existence."
Well... we were given an underwhelming task," said one angel.
"Shush. We have more herds to take care of," another replied.
Somewhere Else...
"Well, seems this is our first joint operation," Zalario said, eyes fixed on the Tyrannosaurus below.
"I'm honored to fight alongside you, Commander Feldway," said Garasha.
"Same here. Thank you, Commander Fei!!," Pico added.
Feldway nodded. "Appreciated. But now to the main part—I'll handle the majority of the targets. They're powerful, but few in number—best suited for us to handle them. Since all 300,000 lesser angels here are from your units, I will take the responsibility in exterminating most of them."
Deep inside Feldway consciousness, a task was updated—
Zalario, Pico, and Garasha were the first to charge in—shouting together:
"Disintegration!"
In one swift attack, dozens of Tyrannosaurs vanished. Garasha spun her shield, its edge slicing through ten throats. Pico jumped onto it mid-spin, hurling a spear that skewered a line of beasts like shish kebabs—at least, that'z Feldway described in his mind.
Elsewhere, Zalario was surrounded by a hundred apex predators. He whispered:
"Cut."
They dropped instantly—cleanly dismembered.
Feldway watched, unfazed. "Can't be left behind now, can I?"
He landed, drawing Ark.
"My first time using it… at least in this form. Veldanava still hasn't named it. For some reason, he always leaves the naming part for after a weapon reaches God-grade."
With a single swing, four hundred Tyrannosaurs vanished—erased from existence in one clean stroke.
Seeing their fallen brethren, about a hundred Tyrannosaurs turned and began fleeing toward the mountain.
"I'll handle them. Take care of the rest," ordered Feldway.
"Yes, Commander!" the three replied in unison.
Feldway gave chase. On the way, he encountered a group of five hundred more Tyrannosaurs. Like before, he erased them from existence with a single strike.
As the others climbed the mountain, Feldway flew up after them, easily catching and dispatching those at the rear.
"They're fast… no wonder they were such a threat," he muttered.
Ten Tyrannosaurs reached the mountain's peak—only to spot a small girl throwing rocks at them from above.
Before they could react, a sword pierced one of their skulls—followed by the rest falling one by one. Feldway stood before them, blade dripping with blood.
The girl, dressed in animal furs, stared at the tall, white-haired man. Blood dripped from her nose.
"You're bleeding," Feldway said, pointing it out.
She didn't understand. She just kept staring.
Realizing the language barrier, Feldway used simple hand gestures to tell her to go inside the cave.
Instead, the girl motioned for him to stay. She returned a moment later and drew a stick figure—him—protecting her.
Feldway, slightly flustered, stood in silence. Eventually, he turned and flew off.
What he didn't know then was that this moment—this simple act of saving a human child—would be painted on the cave walls and remembered for generations.
The beginning of a legend.
The rise of the title:
Guardian of Humanity.
