Jay-jay's POV
Who's excited?! No... Super excited?! Yes.
Me! Hahahaha... I'm excited. Super duper, because now we can go to the school Festival. According to Ci-N's story, the Celebration was really fun. That's why your grandma is excited.
The parade starts at 8am. We can skip it. They said they won't come looking for us. So we'll be there before 10am.
I looked at the wall clock. It's 9:30, but my pick-up still hasn't arrived.
I checked my cellphone to see if they've texted me, but they still haven't.
I went out of the house to wait for them. Just as I was about to leave, David's car stopped in front of me.
"Sorry it took so long..." Ci-N said, peering out the window.
I got in right away. "Okay. Let's go!"
David started the car. It was still far away but I could already hear the loud music from the school. There was quite a bit of traffic, probably because there were so many people. The party on the road was overpowering.
We were almost at the school gate when David stopped the car.
"Let's just stay here. There's no parking inside." David said.
We got off at the same time. They were really fun to watch, Ci-N. There were so many visitors from other schools.
"Don't stay away from us." David told me.
I was a little ahead of them. Probably because I was so excited. So I stopped to catch up with them.
I was excited.
"Where do you want to go first?" They asked me.
"Let's eat first." I said.
They nodded to me. When we entered the gate, the school was almost too big to see. There were so many people. Suddenly someone announced, everyone heard it because of the surrounding speakers.
"Please proceed to the auditorium. The program will start in 10 minutes."
People started walking towards the auditorium. Some chose not to watch like us. We chose to eat here at the sushi house.
It's just a small stall and the sushi is like from a convenience store, so it's not that tasty.
"Calix oh.." Ci said while pointing to a booth. "...I'm going there." He suddenly stood up and ran towards Calix.
This Ci-N is really naughty. I bet they'll fight. Manu just leave the two of them alone. Are they dating?
"Do you want a drink?" David asked me.
I nodded and he immediately went to a stall selling shakes.
I just rolled my eyes when Kiko suddenly approached me.
"Hi Jay!" He greeted me.
I smiled as a greeting to him. I was embarrassed, because I had changed my opinion of him after what David had told me.
"Are you alone?"
"I'm with Ci-N and David." I replied.
"Ahh... They're not here yet, maybe you want to come with me." That's what he said.
Why does he seem so arrogant now?
"No. I'll just stay here. Maybe your girlfriend will get mad at me."
Maybe Freya will suddenly pick on me while walking down the street. This Kiko is crazy too. After I was bastiden, Freya was the one he signed.
"Are you sure? I'm great company." He was bragging.
I shook my head at him. I wanted to send him away. He was no longer comfortable. He was a bit of a nuisance to be around.
"No... I'm really okay." I insisted.
"Okay then... But if you change your mind you know where to find me." He said and walked away.
When he left, David came back. He put down the shake he had bought.
"Did Kiko do something bad to you?" He opened it to me.
"Nothing..." I replied.
Suddenly David's cellphone rang. He pressed it for a while before talking to me.
"Jay... I have to go. My girlfriend is already at the airport." He said.
He didn't wait for me to say anything. He quickly ran away.
No, girlfriend is a tough opponent----Charot!
I also stood up to look for Ci-N. They were out of sight. He was just messing around with Calix and Mica earlier.
Where did he go?
I walked around for a while. I also looked at the booths until I stopped. There was a stuffed Snorlax toy.
"Brother... What kind of Snorlax is that?" I asked the man guarding the booth.
"That's not for sale... You have to knock the person down at the end to get it." The man replied while pointing at a figure that was as small and thin as my finger.
"What will you use to knock it down?"
"Here..." He showed me a pellet gun.
When will I ever get to hit that?!
This is Kuya's only weapon. It's so impossible to hit that. It's like he's on top of a mountain. There are other things that can be hit but of course, Snorlax is what I really want.
I shook my head at Kuya to tell him no. What I'm paying for will be a waste, it's obvious that I'm not going to get it.
A man suddenly approached me and stopped in front of me.
"Hey... Are you mine? Co'z I am yours." He smiled at me.
I looked at him evilly. He was weari
"Where's the drugs?" I commented and he suddenly laughed.
It's annoying!
But his laugh is so handsome. It sounds macho. Just a laugh is enough.
He took off his shades and stuffed them in the pocket of his polo shirt. He turned to me and that's when I recognized who he was.
Blue Eyes' brother!
"What you said is enough. Are you a joker?" He said.
I gave him a hard time. "No! Your pick up line is corny!"
He laughed again. "You're so rude. What's your name again?" He asked me.
Hmpf! He had a feeling I'd tell him. I'd never given him my name before.
"Secret." I replied.
"Okay Secret... I'm Promise." He said and held out his hand.
"You're welcome!"
He laughed again. "I have no Lelang."
The feeling was the same as when Keifer, Aries and Yuri used to be. He was also very sweet, smiling, and snoring. It felt weird.
"I don't know about you! What do you need?!" I asked him annoyed.
He stopped laughing. "Your name. We've met several times but I still don't know your name."
It was like I didn't want to say it. It was so much fun to annoy this Blue Eyes Brother.
"I'll tell you next time. When we meet again." I teased.
"C'mon! I'm dying to know your name!" He was acting. O.A ah! Dying!
"O.A you!"
He scratched his cheek and looked at the booth opposite us.
"Just like that... I'll play this game for you. Since I saw you asking and pointing to that stuffed Toy." He said while pointing at the Snorlax that was 3ft. tall. "I will win that price and exchange it for your name."
That's how arrogant he was. He felt like he could really get it. That's why I changed my mind because it was obviously hard to get.
"Okay." I said arrogantly.
He smirks and walks toward the booth. He handed in his payment. Five bullets for 25 pesos. Okay!
"Snorlax for your name." He said and aimed the gun at the target.
The way he held the gun was strange. It was like he was an expert. He fired, missing the first shot.
Nothing... That's weak.
He aimed again and aimed at the target. It hit but the target didn't move. Putcha! The target must have been glued! He aimed again. This was the third bullet. He aimed and hit again. Still not move.
Blood! It's really glued!
He aimed, this is the fourth time. Only one bullet left in his bullet. When this one didn't move, there was no hope. He shot, hit and moved!
Move! Move! There is hope!
The last bullet. He aimed, and aimed at the target. I just bit my nails while waiting for the result. This was a thrill for Kuya'n Blue Eyes.
He took a deep breath and.... Hit! The target fell!
"YES!!!" I shouted while raising both hands.
Kuya'n Blue Eyes lowered the shotgun. Kuya handed him the Snorlax. I just kept clapping while waiting for him to hand it to me.
"Your name..." He said.
"Jasper Jean Mariano... Jay-jay for short." I said and snatched Snorlax from him.
I hugged him and shook him. I bit my ear too.
"You're so scary, you're biting!" He teased.
I licked him in response. I tightened my hug with Snorlax. I noticed that he was looking at someone behind me. I was about to turn around to look at it but he suddenly spoke.
"I have to go. Nice to meet you Jay-jay." He said and started to walk.
"Wait! Your name!" I shouted at him.
He stopped for a moment and looked at me. His eyes were serious and it was as if what I was asking for was a very important detail.
"Percy... Percy Mariano." He said and quickly walked away.
Percy Mariano?!
Percy and Mariano are familiar to me----We have the same last name!
I immediately chased after him. Maybe he's my relative or maybe he knows Papa. I reached the gate but I couldn't see him anymore.
Aries and I met and he immediately grabbed my arm.
"Where was the one you were talking to earlier?!" He asked me sternly.
"Go away!"
"What did he say to you?!"
I removed his hand that was holding my arm. I looked at him angrily. What did he care about the one I was talking to earlier.
"Nothing! He just asked my name!"
I could see that he was restless and seemed to have some kind of problem. He immediately walked away and seemed to be looking for something.
This Aries is a nuisance. The one I was looking for disappeared.
