Chapter 11 - THE JOURNEY TO QATAR

The airport was bustling, but for Mirshad, time seemed to slow down. He had cleared all the security checks and walked through the long corridors, his footsteps echoing in his ears. As he boarded the plane, he found his seat by the window. With a heavy heart, he gazed outside, watching the world he knew slip away.

The plane began to taxi down the runway, and Mirshad's eyes filled with tears. He tried to blink them away, but the memories flooded back in waves—faces of family, friends, the places he grew up in. He saw his mother's smile, his friends' laughter, and the streets he once walked with carefree joy. He wasn't sure when, or if, he would ever see them again.

Now, he was leaving it all behind, headed to a new country—a new life. He knew this was for his family, to be with his father, to care for them all. But that didn't make the departure any easier. His mind raced, but a part of him felt numb, almost as if he were on autopilot. He had no idea that this trip would mark the beginning of everything for him. A new chapter, one that would shape his future in ways he couldn't even imagine.

After a few hours, the plane landed in Qatar. As the aircraft taxied to the gate, Mirshad took a deep breath, steeling himself for the unknown. He exited the plane, passed through immigration, and cleared the final security checks. The unfamiliar air felt different against his skin, and the sound of foreign voices surrounded him. It was like stepping into a different world, a world where he would have to find his place.

He walked out into the arrival hall, his eyes scanning the crowd. Then, he saw him—his father, standing alongside an old family friend. His father's eyes lit up the moment they locked onto Mirshad. Without a word, Mirshad walked over, and before he could even speak, his father pulled him into a tight embrace. It had been two long years since they had last seen each other, and now, his father's arms felt like home.

As they broke apart, his father looked at him with a sense of pride. He saw the boy he left behind had grown into a man, standing tall with a new strength and maturity that wasn't there before. For a moment, nothing else mattered but the feeling of being reunited.

"Welcome, my son," his father said quietly, his voice filled with emotion.

Mirshad nodded, unable to find the right words. It wasn't just the reunion with his father, but a new beginning in a land he didn't know. They walked toward the car, his father's friend leading the way. Mirshad took in the sights around him—the heat of the desert air, the vastness of the roads, the tall buildings in the distance.

They got into the car and drove through the city. Mirshad looked out the window, trying to take it all in, but his mind was still racing. The familiar and the unknown were colliding inside him, and he wasn't sure what to expect from this place, from this life that awaited him. As they reached the house where his father was staying, Mirshad realized that this wasn't just a visit. It was the start of something bigger. Without knowing it, he had just stepped into the first chapter of a new journey.

A journey that would change everything.
