✿ CHAPTER 26 ✿
"I won't let you raise your voice at Luciana!" My Mom frowned when she saw that people were beginning to turn heads.
"Ace get up let's leave, now!" Uncle Mads said to Ace.
"I don't want to leave, no, I don't want to go," Ace said with tears in his eyes
"Ace, don't worry everything is going to be fine" I comforted him
"Ace I said get up!!" he tried grabbing Ace's hand.
"Don't you dare touch my son! you bastard!!" Aunt Luciana pulled his hand away from Ace.
"Your son? Ace isn't your son, Luciana. He's my son!"
"You're just a woman who couldn't give birth for her husband!" Uncle Mads looked furious...
"What did you just say to me?"
At this moment I took out my phone to call my dad telling him to come with the cops.
The manager of the restaurant walked towards us and said
"Please, this is a public restaurant...you're driving our customers away" the manager pleaded
"It's fine, we'll leave now," My Mom said as she picked up her bag ignoring Uncle Mads
"Amelia, Ace, let's get going," she said as she held Aunt Luciana's hand
"Don't you dare walk out on me!, Luciana!" He grabbed Aunt Luciana's arm, yanking her hair back as she let out a cry.
"Let go off me!!" she tried pulling away but he held her tight, people gasped when they saw this...
"Let go off my best friend! You son of a bitch!!!" My Mom pounced on him as she began hitting him furiously.
Every gasped in shock as they began recording
"Mom!!"
"Aunty!!"
I and ace tried pulling them away but it was all to no avail.
"Where the hell is the security!!" I shouted
"Ahhhhhh!!, get off me!! You crazy bitch!" he let go of Aunt Luciana's hair as My Mom was hitting him.
"I've wanted to hit you!, just like you always hit me in the past!!" Aunt Luciana took off her stiletto heels and hit Uncle Mads head with it.
"Help!, Help me!, someone help me!!" Uncle Mads screamed in pain as both women pounced on him.
My mom pressed her heels on his groin making him to scream in pain.
"Ohhhhh!" everyone was shocked but immediately they began cheering my mom and Aunt Luciana.
"Mom!, stop!" I could see blood flowing from the right side of his head and his arm.
"I'm sorry!, I won't dare touch her again!, please forgive me!" Uncle Mads cried out as he was now bleeding profusely
"You bastard!" My Mom's hair and clothes looked disheveled as she panted, grabbing Uncle Mads by the collar and yanking his head on the hard tile causing him to bleed.
"How dare you try to take my son away from me!!, even if Ace isn't my real son, I took care of him ever since you abandoned him and his mother"
"Where have you been all these years huh? Where have you been!" she slapped him hard on the face.
"Luciana stop!, let's go home" My Mom pulled her off Uncle Mads who was now laying on the floor breathless.
Aunt Luciana turned to face Ace who was fidgeting by the side.
"Ace darling" she pulled him into a hug.
"Don't worry everything will be fine" She caressed his back as he buried his face in her shoulders and cried.
"Mom, are you ok? I called Dad already" Concern etched on my face as I approached my mom
"You did?"
"Stella!, Amelia!" I heard My Dad's voice from behind us.
"Dad!" I ran to hug him...the police were behind him as they walked over to Uncle Mads who was now unconscious.
Aunt Luciana and My Mom were giving their statements to the police concerning what happened tonight.
I was stunned when one of the police officers recognized Uncle Mads as a wanted criminal who often abused his victims and sold them.
"Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about your ex-husband?" The Police officer asked Aunt Luciana as we stepped out of the restaurant.
"Yes"
" He often beat me up while I was still married to him years ago, but when he found out we couldn't have children in our marriage he impregnated another lady...even while the lady was pregnant with his child he still abused her," Aunt Luciana said.
it was my first time seeing Aunt Luciana look hurt, she must have been abused violently in the past.
"I moved to another city after we both divorced, a year later the lady he impregnated came to my house. I didn't know her but she knew me, I was surprised how she knew my house" Aunt Luciana said with her voice trembling as my mom held her close.
"The lady was standing in front of my door with a baby in her arms, she begged me to take care of her child...even when I refused, she got on her knees and begged me countless times"
The police were noting down everything she said
"She explained to me how Mads impregnated her and abused her while she was pregnant with his child before abandoning her and the unborn child" Aunt Luciana held Ace's hand tightly.
"She said, she suffered every day to survive, she had to be alive for her child, their child... she said she'll feel guilty for the rest of her life if anything were to happen to her child while she was still alive" Aunt Luciana looked up to the sky to avoid her tears from falling.
"At that time, I didn't know what to do because she was the woman my husband impregnated, after much consideration, I accepted the baby from her hands...the baby was soundly asleep and looked so peaceful...I felt my heart ache when I looked at the baby in my arms"
"I let her into my house, I cleaned her up, I fed her and her baby...I gave them a room to sleep that night" Her tears finally fell down her eyes.
"I woke up the next morning to hear the baby crying...I hurriedly went to their room and, - and she was-" Aunt Luciana finally broke down into uncontrollable tears...My Mom and Ace also had tears in their eyes.
I held My Dad's hand as tears fell down my eyes while watching Aunt Luciana break down into tears.
