On Friday, when Lisa went out with Alex,she was still worried about Mariana. The way she looked when they were going home was awful. And to be honest it was the first time she had seen her get sick. Ever since they met ,Mariana never got sick,even if there was a flu outbreak,it was as if her immune system was stronger than anyone else.
The whole time she was with Alex,she was distracted,and Alex noticed.
"You are not enjoying yourself are you?" Alex whispered in Lisa's ear.
Lisa felt butterflies in her stomach and turned her face to him,"it's not that..am just.. distracted that's all. You are so nice and this would just be perfect but...I left Mariana kind of sick and am worried about her."
"What do you mean you left Mariana sick? Alex asked,concern written all over his face.
"When we were going home she looked pale and kind of feverish,I even wanted to cancel our date but she told me not to."
"Would you like us to leave?" Alex asked.
"No it's ok I'll call her tomorrow,she might be sleeping now anyway." Lisa said and went back to watching the film.
Alex took out his phone and texted a certain number 'ITS HAPPENING' then he put his phone back in his pocket and also resumed watching the film.

Back in Mariana's room
Ring..ring..
Melissa's phone rang..
"Hello..oh you are..let me text you the details so you can give them to the Uber driver." She ended the call and texted Jennifer's home address and sent it to the one who called.
Thirty minutes later there was a knock on the door and Jennifer looked at Melissa,who assured her and got up to go get it.
When she opened the door she immediately said,"welcome counselor, sorry I had to bring you all this way,I hope your journey was well."
"It was ok."the counselor said.
They walked in and Melissa led him to the living room. She explained the situation and asked him what could be done. The elder asked if it was okay to see her. Although it was against tradition for an elder to enter a young lady's room,he had to. Mariana was in no condition to come to him.
When they entered Mariana's room,the elder saw Jennifer still holding her unconscious daughter's hand. He walked to the bedside to get a closer look. Then he asked Jennifer,"may I ?" He signaled to the hand Jennifer was holding.
"Okay.."Jennifer let go of Mariana's hand and looked at Melissa, who only nodded in acknowledgement.
The elder took the girls hand as if feeling for her pulse and he closed her eyes. After a minute,he opened his eyes and turned to Melissa.
"Your granddaughter is strong,but she cannot shift here. It will be dangerous for everyone around her and even around this house. We have to move her before tomorrow at noon.
Jennifer looked at the elder surprised,"I thought you had said we can't move her? Why the change?"
"Her powers are stronger than I ever imagined,and during the transformation, they would only grow." The elder said.
"But how will we move her,she is still unconscious?"
Melissa with much determination answered,"I will take care of it."
Just as Melissa said that,the phone rang,it was Mariana's phone. Jennifer answered it.
"Hello..hi Lisa ,yes she is still not feeling well..no you don't need to come coz you won't find us...I am taking her to get checked...no not a hospital... don't worry I will let you know when you can see her..thanks for calling Lisa." She hang up.
Jennifer walked out of the room and the elder followed her,so did Melissa. They went to the living room and Jennifer told Melissa to make the necessary arrangements while she packed.
Jennifer packed most of the essentials and helped change her daughter's clothes. All this time Mariana did not wake up.
After she was done, Melissa called her driver to carry Mariana to the car. He settled her in the back seat of an SUV and Jennifer got in the same place and cradled her head. Melissa settled in one of the passenger seat and so did the elder and they left.
The drive took a little over two hours and as they pulled over the driveway,Jennifer was stunned. It was a magnificent looking house surrounded by flower bushes and tall eucalyptus trees. The greenery and flowers made it look like it was extracted from a fairy tale.
They got out from the car and the driver naturaly went to get Mariana. Just as he was about to pick her up,she opened her eyes. "Miss are you awake?" He asked.
Melissa and Jennifer heard him and walked close to take a look.
"Mom..where are you?..where are we?..what on earth? Mariana was confused.
The driver moved out of the way to allow Jennifer to get close to calm her daughter down.
"Hi sweetheart,it's okay,you are okay..look grandma is here..can you stand?"
Mariana looked around a little bit then looked back at her mother and nodded. She hel on to her mother's hand and was led out of the car. She almost stumbled but her mom held her tight ,with the aid of the driver they walked to the front door.

Phone ringing..
"Hello your majesty?"
"Yes what do you have so far?" Branden asked the person on the other side of the call.
"I heard they were taking her out of the house so I went there and waited for them to leave so that I could follow."
"I am already in the country and I can feel her pull. If you know exactly where they are come and get me and take me to her." Branden said.
"Of course your majesty,I will be there by tomorrow morning as it is already late."
"Be here early, tomorrow is the night of the full moon and am sure it will affect her much more than it did me." Branden gave the orders.
"I have received your orders ,thank you your majesty...have a good evening."
Branden ended the call and sat back in his chair eyes closed. When Mariana awakened he felt it and yet he was far way. Now that he was close it was stronger...so strong he could almost see her face.
'Just afew more hours Mate and I get to see the one who has been haunting my dreams' Branden thought.
