Chapter 99 – The Night's Throne

The moment their lips met, the world ceased to matter.

It was not the desperate clash of two warriors, nor the fragile yearning of lovers lost in time. It was something greater—something eternal.

Leonhardt's hands roamed over Aetheria's form, tracing the very essence of her existence. She was fire and ice, darkness and light, divinity and destruction—all wrapped in the form of his queen.

Aetheria gasped as his fingers tangled in her silken hair, pulling her even closer. The raw strength in his touch sent a shiver down her spine. It was possessive, unyielding.

But she would not let him take control so easily.

Her hands pressed against his chest, her nails raking against his skin as she pushed him back against the obsidian throne.

Leonhardt's breath hitched, a growl escaping him as he felt her weight pinning him down. She was demanding submission.

And he—the Fallen God-King—allowed it.

Because for her, he would surrender.

Aetheria's violet eyes glowed with something unreadable, her lips hovering just above his, teasing him with the promise of more. "Say it again," she whispered, her voice laced with dangerous sweetness.

Leonhardt's fingers clenched against the fabric of her robes. His fiery red eyes locked onto hers, burning with absolute devotion.

"I am yours."

Aetheria inhaled sharply. That voice. That deep, husky tone that sent a delicious shiver down her spine.

She had conquered gods. She had conquered kingdoms.

But nothing felt as victorious as this moment.

Her lips met his again, this time with hunger, with certainty.

And this time, Leonhardt did not hold back.

His arms wrapped around her, pulling her closer until there was no space left between them. His lips were demanding, his hands were firm, his presence was overwhelming.

Aetheria gasped into his mouth, losing herself in him.

And for the first time, she did not fight for control.

Because this was not a battle.

This was an oath.

A promise beyond the stars. Beyond the gods. Beyond the eternity they had lost.

Leonhardt pulled back just slightly, his forehead resting against hers, their breaths mingling in the stillness.

His voice was lower this time, reverent. Unbreakable.

"I have always been yours, Aetheria."

Her heart thundered.

And in that moment, she knew.

No force in the universe, no god, no fate—nothing could take him from her again.

She smiled, her fingers tracing his cheek, her violet eyes glimmering with something beyond love.

"Then let the heavens bear witness."

And as their powers intertwined once more, the stars bowed to their union.
