Kevin's eyes darkened slightly as he looked at Jessie, his gaze carrying a hint of scrutiny.
‘Is this woman... testing me?’
He chuckled. "What are you dreaming about? If I were a member of the Harper family, would I still have to do this kind of manual labor?"
Hearing this, Jessie sighed in relief and patted her chest. "Oh, that’s good to know."
Her reaction confused Kevin. Most people would hope to climb up the social ladder, so why was she relieved?
