The next day at morning when Revian woke up, he was greeted by Kaien. Kaien showed him the surroundings around the cottage. There was a mountain infront of him , a blue coloured one with a snow peak at top.
Kaien them told him "Climb that mountain and reach the top". That's what your first day of training is . Revian
in disbelief looked at him"Do I have to climb such large mountain. What does it have to do with my emotion powers. It doesn't make sense" . Kaien just told him to follow what he says and don't question his training.
Revian removes a cigarette from his pocket and just smokes before getting ready to climb a mountain.He was frustrated by the thought of climbing such a large mountain in a one day and the frustration was further fueled by many things that happened with him. He was just a mere coincidence and should have been dead the day he was about to sucide.
Revian starts trekking the mountain while looking at its beauty. He was little fascinated by the flowers of different colours that bloomed on the forest present on the mountain. But soon depressing thoughts started flooding in his mind as he was climbing the mountain. The journey felt so tough that he gave up and sat under a tree just roughly walking 5km on mountain.
He thought to himself"Why am I doing this? Why am I fighting?I want to just die in peace. I guess I can't even wish for that now". After ten minutes of depressing thoughts, he slept on the grass which felt like a bed sent by heaven.He looked up at the sky , the beautiful birds present on the tree and just hoped something would kill him.
He woke up and again started his journey. It felt like he was getting into deep forest where there could be traps set up by Kaien who seemed like a trickster. But he hadn't even encountered a single trap and his journey was too smooth almost completed.
He saw an apple trees on his way and a low branch which had an apple on it. He stretched himself and somehow plucked the apple and ate it .He saw butterflies which lightened his mood .
By the time it was night , he reached the peak of the mountain it was already soon going to be night. He saw the sun setting . Soon the sky felt dark and he saw glowing creatures like butterflies. They were fireflies. His mood somehow had lightened by the dark past his soul carried.
First time in life he had admired the nature. Suddenly he saw a smoke coming out of a direction. Revian headed towards the direction and saw Kaien preparing a grilled corn on a cob.
Kaien offered him food and they chit-chatted a little bit it only seemed like Kaien was the only one talking. Revian finally asked "I really wanted to know what was the point of this training. There were no traps , no battles ,nothing what I expected."
Kaien just smiled and said " All the beautiful and marvellous things you experienced about nature was really the point. Life is too small to be spent on depression. Tommorow I might be dead , you might be dead but still it doesn't matter to the world. Life life to the fullest meaning possible. If you do that your curse of depression will go Revian".
Revian just looked at eyes of Kaien but said nothing. Deep down he knew he might be worng about life .
