Trunks had already been standing there, completely stunned.
Was this really something a person could do?
Just a casual wave of the hand unleashed such terrifying power.
If Cado punched at full strength, who could possibly withstand it?
"Trunks, a little bug just crawled out..."
Cado's lips curled up slightly into a faint smile as he said to Trunks.
"Huh? What little bug?"
Trunks asked in confusion.
Clearly, Cado's strange comment had left him completely baffled.
"Don't worry, you'll see soon enough. Put your hand on me, I'll take you to check it out."
Cado said with a calm smile.
Although Trunks didn't really understand, he still did as Cado instructed.
He placed his hand on Cado's shoulder.
Then Cado put two fingers on his own forehead and instantly teleported them.
Swish!
In the blink of an eye, the two disappeared from the original spot, leaving behind only a field of shattered rubble.
-----
At a collapsed cave somewhere—
Trunks and Cado's figures suddenly appeared.
"Where is this?"
Trunks looked around at the caved-in mountain cave.
Clearly, he had no idea why Cado had brought him here.
"If I'm not mistaken..."
"This should be Dr. Gero's old laboratory." Cado explained calmly.
At the same time, he released his Super Saiyan and Kaio-Ken x10 forms.
"Huh? How do you know that?" Trunks asked in shock.
He was very familiar with the name Dr. Gero.
After all, it was Dr. Gero who had created the androids that brought disaster upon humanity.
In a sense, Dr. Gero was history's greatest criminal!
"I told you—it's just a guess." Cado said lightly, smiling.
In truth, Cado didn't actually know where Dr. Gero's lab was.
However, after he transformed into a Super Saiyan and used Kaio-Ken x10,his senses had been pushed to their limits.
He faintly sensed a chaotic aura here, one that was about to awaken.
"We'll wait here for a while. Maybe that little bug I mentioned will pop out soon." Cado continued with a smile.
"Oh... okay..." Trunks scratched his head, still very confused.
Time passed second by second.
The two of them waited at the collapsed cave entrance for about 10 minutes.
Suddenly, the rocks on the ground began to tremble, and from the lifeless wasteland erupted a powerful, familiar, yet evil aura.
"This... this is...?"
Trunks' heart skipped a beat. He hadn't expected such a powerful entity to be hiding here.
"Heh, just as I thought..."
Cado said with a faint smile.
Earth's strong warriors were mostly dead, and this aura was so chaotic.
As someone who knew the story, the answer was obvious.
RUMBLE RUMBLE...
The mountain rocks began sliding down.
The huge boulders blocking the cave mouth exploded into dust, and the cave collapsed.
Suddenly, a blinding white light shot into the sky.
The falling rubble was battered by repeated shockwaves.
As the shockwaves continued, the debris began to slowly float upward.
"HAHAHA! I, Cell, have finally been born!"
A grotesque green creature leapt out, laughing wildly.
This ugly being was none other than Cell—one of the big bosses of the future storyline!
"This aura..."
"Uncle Krillin, Uncle Piccolo, Teacher Gohan..."
Trunks' expression grew dazed.
He could feel countless familiar sensations coming from Cell.
They were all the auras of Earth's fallen heroes.
"Mr. Cado, what is that thing? Why does it have everyone's aura?"
Trunks asked, his emotions a bit unstable.
"This guy is probably another one of Dr. Gero's creations. From what he just said, he's called Cell."
"Seems he was created using data from all of Earth's strongest fighters, which is why he feels so familiar."
Cado explained vaguely.
Although Cell's true creation process was a little different, the gist was correct.
There was no need to explain everything in detail—besides, this monster wasn't going to live much longer anyway.
No point wasting words.
"I see... Dr. Gero, that bastard, is truly unforgivable!"
Trunks clenched his fists in anger, glaring hatefully at Cell.
In his eyes, Dr. Gero's creations had caused untold suffering.
And this Cell was no different—in fact, he was even worse.
The harsh environment had shaped Trunks into someone decisive and ruthless.
Today, unless something unexpected happened, Cell was doomed.
"Trunks? Why are you here?"
"And who are you?"
Cell finally noticed the two figures and correctly called out Trunks' name.
Cell was confused—why was Trunks here?
Weren't the androids supposed to be handling him?
Or... had the androids already been...
Realization struck Cell like lightning, and he hurriedly asked.
"Where are Android 17 and 18?"
"They're waiting for you in hell!"
Trunks snapped coldly.
The next second, golden energy burst from him.
His hair turned golden once again—he had transformed into a Super Saiyan!
Without hesitation, he charged straight at Cell.
"Not good!"
Cell's heart dropped.
He hadn't expected 17 and 18 to have already been defeated by Trunks.
Nor had he expected Trunks to attack without any warning!
Caught completely off guard, Cell frantically defended himself—but zap!
In the blink of an eye, Trunks chopped off one of Cell's arms.
"D-Damn it!"
Cell growled through gritted teeth, his face twisted in rage.
At his current incomplete stage, he was no match for Trunks.
On top of that, being ambushed so suddenly left him battered and struggling.
"Take this!"
Seeing that his attack succeeded, Trunks didn't give Cell a moment to breathe—he pressed the assault even harder!
"Wait, Trunks!"
Cell cried out desperately as Trunks launched another fierce attack.
Right now, Cell had no choice but to beg for mercy.
After all, he didn't want to die immediately after being born!
Unfortunately, Trunks didn't slow down at all.
Instead, his strikes grew even sharper, even more lethal.
Cell was being overwhelmed.
At least let me finish talking!!
"Trunks, I'm not at full power yet!"
"Even if you beat me now, it doesn't mean anything!"
"If you've got guts, let me grow stronger!"
"Then we can have a real, glorious battle!"
Cell tried to negotiate while defending desperately.
