The next day at home Lydia woke up greeted Johnson he didn't reply he was starring at Lydia, so she ask are you okay? Johnson replied you are...he didn't complete the statement am sorry I had a nightmare Lydia replied it's just a nightmare relax it's okay Lydia didn't know it was because of what Janet told Johnson. So later that day Johnson left and went to Janet's place and stayed there telling Janet that he made a mistake making Lydia his wife. That he wants to marry Janet, if Janet accept he will take Janet to his place first thing tomorrow morning, Janet replied I will want to say yes to you,but how about my friend Lydia how will she feel about this when she gets to know?
Johnson replied, forget about that little agent of witch that I got myself into. Janet smile and side to Johnson so you now choose me? Johnson was curious he told Janet just say yes to me and you will see the magic Janet replied yes to Johnson.
They made an arrangement and left the village the next morning as promised by Johnson without Lydia's idea and anyone at all. Lydia stayed throughout that day Johnson didn't return to the house she was so worried, she stayed awake till the next day thinking Johnson will be back but didn't return back home, so she went to Janet place the next day to tell Janet about Johnson that he has not returned back home since yesterday but couldn't find Janet at home Janet mom came out and saw Lydia crying she ask my daughter why are you crying? Lydia replied I can't find my husband and he hasn't returned back home since yesterday and I can't find Janet I wanted knowing if she has seen Johnson in anyway?
Ohh sorry my daughter Janet left with Johnson to his village yesterday morning are you not aware?
Lydia replied with curiosity, I don't understand you mean Janet and my husband traveled I'm confused I mean my husband Johnson? Janet Mom replied yes my daughter, Janet and Johnson your husband before she smile..
Lydia said,but why didn't he take me his wife and his son instead why my friend?
Janet's Mom replied to Lydia he didn't choose you again because he knew your mom will kill his son just like the way your mom killed her 4 sons. Lydia cried and left when she got home,she felt the sadness and the bitterness that she was betrayed and she couldn't bear it cause it was from her childhood best friend Janet she cried the whole day and told her parent they were both sad about the situation. Her parent started putting blames on her that she couldn't stand her ground,as a woman.Now that you have a child how are we going to feed yourself and feed the child? After a while things became so hard and tough till she couldn't stand the chance of letting the baby die of hunger.she took the baby to the orphanage told the woman to take very good care of the baby that she will be back she cried while handing over GODSWILL to the orphanage.
When she returned home she pack her things immediately and left the house to avoid being ask about the baby cause she couldn't stand the pains, Johnson have caused her. so she left the village to start over again at another village far away from home,when Lydia get there she met with someone else who saw her and admire her from the moment he met her at the pack lucky to Lydia she was ask where are you going to beautiful lady, she replied no way just looking for a job the man ask a job that you don't even applied she said she didn't have time for that the man smile and ask her will you be my cleaner she said yes sir I will thank you very much the man ask are you willing to start today Lydia replied yes but i don't have where to stay ooo maybe you pay me so I can't get apartment to stay the man told her that's not how they do here don't worry I will give you your room to stay for now. Lydia was so happy when she got the there the house was one of Houses she normally See's in newspaper the house was so beautiful the man ask her to come inside told her to sit down the man offer her drink and told her since you didn't write and application I will like to know about you because I can't just employ a total stranger into my home to cook for me and be cleaning ,what if you kill me who will I ask?Lydia said I can't kill you Sir. Please sir, I am not that kind of person please. The man said no I didn't mean you will kill me I was just saying it because you are a stranger to me now so tell me about yourself, where you come from and what brought you to the city, without even having who you were coming to met or where did you even planed on staying? Lydia sat down for like few minutes without saying anything and after awhile she told the man everything about herself, Johnson and her child. She goes on and told him how life was so tough for her and her son instead of watching him die, I took the baby to the orphanage home for safety and decides to come to look for something doing than committing suicide of all the things she went through because of Johnson. The man felt about it and then decided to employ her, he took her to her room and ask her to rest and resume work tomorrow. Lydia wasn't comfortable after her past came to play, she cried for her son because she misses her handsome good looking baby boy but she didn't have a choice she did what she did for the baby to stay alive and healthy she cried until she fell asleep. The man came and saw her the man was still worried why a pretty young girl like this with a innocent heart will go through such pains in life.
