Synopsis
Raka Wright had just turned 18, it was supposed to be a joyous day. Filled with joy and laughter, instead, the sky split into two. They called it The Merger. That day, a second sun bled through the clouds and stitched the fantasy realm of Arche to Earth. Skyscrapers swallowed by mountains, coastlines vanished in fire, and entire countries burned to ashes. A silver-tongued deity dangled salvation before Raka’s family, then dropped them to their deaths. Where other survivors stretched trembling hands toward divinity, Raka met the gods’ gaze and did not flinch. “If heaven will not mourn with me, let it tremble before me.” Somewhere in the shattered world, time holds its breath around a sleeper wrapped in humming light—an unfinished weapon awaiting its cue. Behold the one forged in the fires of the end of the world, destined to kindle the first light of its rebirth. Things to expect: - Magic mixed with technology - Weak to strong, gets a boost in the beginning but its a hard climb from there. - Slow pacing, like pretty slow - Post Apocalyptic-ish - Action scenes that make sense - God vs Mortal and rewriting fate themes Note: SLOW PACED STORYTELLING! *********** I will also be posting on RoyalRoad . com u der the same name. https: //www . royalroad . com /profile/707226/ fictions **********

Chapter 1 - Chapter 0. A Centuries Long Dream

In lands where magic weaves its thread, And mortal hearts hold hope and dread, What does it mean, this "normal" state, When gods and men share twisted fate?

Immortals plan with timeless eyes, Their ambitions stretch beyond the skies, Yet humans breathe but brief and fast, Their fragile lives not meant to last.

Two worlds collide, two realms entwined, Where mortal dreams are left behind, Humans gaze up, their eyes aglow, Forever longing powers they won't know.

Hands stretch high but grasp in vain, Their empty fingers clutch at pain. Yet among those lost in reverent awe, One gaze holds fury, hard and raw.

A gaze of fire, fierce and bold, With anger ancient, deep, untold. Betrayal's seed within him sown, Forgotten by time, yet not alone.

Beneath the earth, in shadows deep, In restless dreams, this rage does sleep. Chains rust and weaken year by year, Awaiting freedom, drawing near.

But dreams must fade, all slumbers break, And buried wrath shall soon awake.

When eyes at last throw wide their gaze, The world will tremble, lost in haze.

How shall gods, in their height and might, Face a fury born in night?

When defiance breaks divine accord, So ends the reign of sacred lords.
