Chapter 4 - Ruined:

Xavriel's POV:

She was the lady from before. The one who drugged me that night. She's probably here to draw my attention. But somehow, she piqued my interest. I wanted to stay away from her. But when I saw that man force himself on her, I couldn't stand it; I had to intervene. That man was weak and by just landing a few fists on him, he almost died. I would've probably killed him if I didn't see her passing out. When I caught her in my arms, the look in her eyes was priceless. She looked scared and frightened. I began to wonder if she was the same most powerful wild cat I've been hearing about. I could tell she was struggling to stay conscious but her body gave in. I couldn't leave her like this, and sending her back will draw unnecessary attention. So I took her to the nearest private room so she could rest.

She was burning high with fever and I could tell that man drugged her. Even for a vampire, that drug will weaken you so much that you can't even use your powers. And for a mere shifter like her, if she wasn't cooled off or her cravings aren't met, she might die. And by cravings, I mean something… well, intense and intimate. And there was no way i was doing that; not again at least. So I picked her up and went to the bathroom and placed her in the bathtub. The faucet started running and the water was as cold as ice.

"That'll do I guess." I whispered to myself and sighed. I started to leave, but then she pulled me back with extreme force that I fell on the rim of the bathtub, my face inches from hers. Even under the influence of drugs she was still strong. Looks like they weren't exaggerating her strength.

"Don't go, please." She managed to whisper amidst her shivers.

I couldn't take my eyes off her. She had these soft hazel eyes that glowed like the last light of sunset. Her wide, glistening eyes trembled with unspoken words and a quiet desperation wrapped in hope. I couldn't stop staring at her lips. Soft and slightly parted, like they were waiting for mine. And her pleading eyes made me ache to close the space between us. And before I knew it, I leaned in to kiss her.

She held the back of my neck tightly as she returned the favour. Our lips collided with a raw urgency, a desperate hunger that left no space between us. My hands gripped her, pulling her closer as if I could lose myself in her. Her breath came in sharp gasps, matching mine , as our kiss deepened—wild, fierce, and filled with a fire that neither of us could fight. Time stopped, and for that moment, it felt like nothing else mattered but the fierce claim we were making of each other.

Suddenly, I became more conscious of what I was doing. I instinctively pulled back. 'This is wrong', I thought. This is exactly what she wants. She probably put on this show so she can get into my bed again. I wasn't falling for that again. I jerked my hand out of her fierce grip. But she kept tugging at my shirt. This woman was bold. And she proved my point when she started unbuckling my pants. Before I could even push her away, she grabbed my manhood and I couldn't help but let out a gasp. She was roaming her arms all over my body. I wasn't going to hold back anymore .

Our lips crashed together, burning with an intensity that left no room for restraint. My hands cupped her face, pulling her closer as our kiss deepened, raw and unrelenting. Each movement was urgent, bodies pressed together and the world outside forgotten. I picked her up by her hips as she humped her core against my manhood with my lips still on hers. I left the bathroom and closed the door and pressed her against it. I started sucking her neck fiercely with a strong urge to suck her blood but I didn't. She kept on moaning.

"Is this what you wanted?" I whispered against her neck . I felt her shivering with desire as I traced my hand lower till I shifted her panties aside and started rubbing her core. She gripped my shoulder tightly and almost sank her claws in my shoulder as she moaned loudly.

"Answer me." I demanded.

"Yes…" she said in a tone barely audible.

"Louder." I insisted.

"Yes! Please…" She said louder this time. That was all I needed to hear. I swang her up my shoulder, walked up to the bed and threw her down.

"Strip." I ordered.

For a moment I thought I saw her reluctant but I brushed it off. She was probably acting anyway. She slowly removed her clothes one after the other. Looks like I wasn't kidding. She came prepared; she wasn't even wearing any under garments. I scoffed disgusted at how she was trying to cover herself.

"Get on all fours." I said firmly and of course, she complied like the slut she is.

She was sprawled across the bed, eyes half-lidded, lips parted, lost in whatever haze she'd chosen to drown in. I watched her with a cold, burning possession —this wasn't softness, not sweetness. This was chaos wrapped in perfume and silk sheets.

She moved like she wanted it—no, needed it—and it only fueled the fire in me. My grip tightened on her hips, and she moaned like she meant it, like it wasn't the drug but me driving her wild. Slut, I thought, but the word didn't stop my hands. It only made me eager to press harder, kiss rougher, take more.

There was no tenderness here, only heat—raw, reckless, and consuming. If she wanted to be ruined, I'd make sure she remembered who did it. She passed out at dawn.

I was still wide awake. This time, I wanted to be there when she wake. She wasn't getting away this time. I couldn't help but stare at her face.

She was dangerously beautiful—the kind of beauty that didn't ask for attention but commanded it. Skin like moonlight over water, curves that moved like sin wrapped in silk, and eyes that promised trouble with a glance. Every part of her was designed to tempt, to lure, to ruin.

But that wasn't fooling me. Beneath that beauty, I saw what she really was—just a slut in disguise. The way she moved, the way she spoke—it was all an act, a lure. That softness, that innocence? It was a mask, and I could see right through it. She craved the attention, the validation, and I was more than willing to give it to her—just like all the others.

After sometime later, she finally woke up. She looked confused and startled as she looked around. And she looked weak. Of course, after the night we had, in wasn't expecting anything less. She looked at me questionably like she didn't know me. Wow, she remembered to act even when she just woke up. Impressive I thought.

"Who are you? Where am I?" She asked innocently. If I didn't know her from before I would've been deceived.

"Are you sure you…" Before I could even finish my question, a bunch of paparazzi burst into the room. Good thing I wore her a night robe before. They started asking all sorts of questions and taking pictures. I immediately took my phone and dialed my assistant, Cassian to drive them away.

"Mr. Viremont, were you drugged by Mrs Nyxhart again?" One of them asked. I looked over at her and she looked scared and clearly struggling to hold back her tears and from crashing out. So I said the first thing that came to mind.

"Mrs. Nyzhart is my fiancé." I said bluntly. She immediately turned to look at me with shock evident in her eyes. But she said nothing. Around the same time, Cassian came with guards and drove them away.

"Why did you do that? I know you were trying to prevent the situation from escalating but I think you made it worse." She said meekly. She was a born actress.

"Sounds wacky coming from someone who put us in this situation." I said bluntly.

"I don't even remember what happened last night? But what I do know is that caracal wild cats are sincere and we don't support lies. I won't be at ease knowing that I am supporting your lie about me and you getting engaged." She said with a tad bit of anger lingering in her voice.

"Who said I'm lying?" I asked a sarcastic question with a blunt tone.

"Wait... you were serious. But why?" She asked surprised.

"I am certainly not about to be perceived as the vampire prince who got drugged by a wild cat twice." I said.

"And you thought the only solution was to lie about me being your fiance?" She asked raising an eyebrow like she was suspicious that there was more to it.

"Can you think of anything better?" I asked annoyed.

"Yeah we could've..."

Before she could finish I cut her off and said "No. The answer is no. You're not the reason why I'm going to put my reputation on the line. Also, you don't have a say in this. You are no longer the third royal lady of the Caracal Wild Cats. And if you think that that real estate thingy makes you a big shot then sorry but you're mistaken. I can bring it down in three seconds. You might as well be a meek little cat and comply." I said bitterly and the hurt in her eyes were visible.

"Fine, I'll be your fiance. Are we done now?" She asked disdainfully.

"We should make it believable so I think it'll be better if you move in." I said without thinking through. I didn't know why I wanted her to be close. Maybe because I know she's having bad intentions and I want her close.

"Okay, that's fine. Are we done?" She asked scornfully.

"Wow that was quick." Then I leaned in and said "Eager much?"

"Don't get any ideas." She said with contempt.

"Pack your things and come to this address at sunset." I handed her a paper with the address on it.

"Cassian left some casual clothes in the bathroom. Change and leave." I said with a bored look.

"Gladly." She sneered.

She went to the bathroom, freshened up and came back with a wet hair because she seemed to be in a hurry and she didn't dry it well. One drop of water was tracing down her neck and without second thoughts, I pulled her in and started sucking that spot. But she quickly pushed me away and left slamming the door behind her.

I smirked as I thought 'I've got a new toy to play with.'
