After listening to Nina's explanation, Jacob immediately asked his two Pokémon to start practicing the Dragon Breath move.

"Noibat, Charmander, you just watched Kommo-o use Dragon Breath. Now start practicing it."

Jacob watched the two Pokémon patiently as they practiced. Then a surprising scene appeared. Charmander took a deep breath, opened its mouth, and exhaled a strong dragon breath forward.

Dragon Breath!

Although the power was very limited, there was no doubt that this was definitely Dragon Breath.

"Great, Charmander!"

Jacob's face was full of smiles, and he praised Charmander without hesitation. Charmander was indeed exceptional, having learned Dragon Breath after only watching it once.

Charmander was also excited and extremely proud of being the first one to learn the Dragon Breath move.

But after thinking about it, Jacob felt that it was perfectly normal, because most Charmander can automatically learn Dragon Breath after their strength reaches the rare level.

Although Jacob's Charmander hadn't reached the rare level yet, it had Champion potential. It was natural that it could learn Dragon Breath after watching it just once.

Compared to Charmander's amazing performance, Noibat's performance was worse, failing to use Dragon Breath several times. However, Jacob wasn't concerned, because he wasn't sure whether Noibat could learn Dragon Breath. Jacob just wanted Noibat to try—if it could learn the move, that would be great; if not, it could still practice controlling Dragon energy.

Looking around at other trainers' Pokémon on the training ground, except for those that had already learned Dragon Breath, no other Pokémon could master it after seeing it just once.

Of course, this was normal. If all Pokémon could learn moves just by watching once like Charmander did, there would be no need for TMs in this world.

"It's okay. Charmander learns Dragon Breath so quickly because it's naturally suited for it. Noibat, just keep trying. Don't feel pressured. Just think of it as practicing your mastery of Dragon energy," Jacob said encouragingly as he reached out and patted Noibat.

The Charmander on the side seemed very excited when it heard Jacob's praise. It looked at Noibat with a provocative expression, then turned its gaze to Grovyle, as if wanting to challenge the authority of its big brother.

"Gro!"

Grovyle looked at Charmander, then walked to an open space, took a deep breath, and spurted out dragon breath from its mouth. It was more powerful and louder than Charmander's Dragon Breath!

Grovyle had already learned Dragon Breath when Jacob captured it.

"Grovyle." After using Dragon Breath, Grovyle walked over to Charmander and patted it on the shoulder, as if to say, "Young one, you still have a long way to go."

After this interaction, Grovyle continued to train diligently, with the attitude of a master who had hidden his achievements and was ready to move on when his work was done.

"Char!"

Charmander, witnessing this display, was obviously greatly motivated. It called out to Grovyle in response. Then Charmander rushed towards Grovyle, following in its footsteps, and devoted itself to training.

Jacob was in a very happy mood at this moment. Given Charmander's personality, Grovyle should discipline it more often; otherwise, it would become arrogant and spend all day bullying Noibat.

"It seems your two Pokémon have already learned Dragon Breath?" Nina approached Jacob at this moment, having just observed Charmander and Grovyle perform Dragon Breath.

"Yes, only Noibat hasn't learned it yet," Jacob replied.

Hearing Jacob's words, Nina frowned and said, "Noibat cannot learn Dragon Breath. It can only learn it after evolving into Noivern. But by that time, Noivern will have learned a stronger Dragon Pulse move, so there isn't much point in learning Dragon Breath."

"I see," Jacob nodded in response.

"Let your Pokémon practice for a while, and we'll discuss practical applications later." After saying this, Nina walked toward the next student.

Nina was truly dedicated. She gave detailed instruction to every student. It took about two hours to teach each of the more than 20 students, spending an average of five minutes with each one.

After instructing all the students, Nina walked to the front without taking a break and said, "With your current strength, Dragon Breath is still a good special attack move. Coupled with the bonus from Dragon-type moves, the damage is still considerable. Before your Pokémon master powerful special attacks such as Dragon Pulse and Draco Meteor, Dragon Breath remains a good Dragon-type special attack option."

"During battle, you must pay attention to the casting time and accuracy of Dragon Breath..."

"The additional effect of Dragon Breath has a chance to paralyze the opponent, which is also very useful..."

"Dragon Breath doesn't require the use of claws or feet, so you can try using it in combination with other moves like Dragon Claw..."

Nina shared everything she knew, explaining the uses of Dragon Breath in actual combat while having Kommo-o demonstrate.

Time flew by, and soon the morning was over, and the half-day move learning class had ended.

Then came the weekly holiday. There was no training scheduled for Saturday afternoon, so many students chose to go home after the morning classes, and Jacob was no exception.

After packing up, Jacob returned to the Lin family home with his three Pokémon.

Knowing that Jacob would be back today, Scott and Jude had specially asked the housekeeper Aunt Abigail to prepare a sumptuous lunch.

"Grandma, Grandpa," Jacob smiled and said to the two elders, "I'm back."

Jude looked at her grandson and became more and more satisfied. "Glad that you're back. You must be exhausted from the training. Put your things away quickly."

Jacob put down his belongings and left his three Pokémon to be looked after in the backyard. He sat back at the dining table and looked at the sumptuous meal. He couldn't help but say, "It smells so good."

"Eat more if it smells good."

...

"Jacob, are you adjusting well to the training camp?" Jude looked at her grandson with concern and asked, "Are you tired?"

"It's not bad. I'm not tired."

Tired? Of course he was! He had to get up at six in the morning to do two hours of morning exercises, and then go to physical training classes. In the evening, he also had to practice for several hours. Of course he was tired. But Jacob wouldn't say this aloud and make Jude worry.

"What kind of man complains about a little hardship?" Scott glared at Jude and said, "You just dote on him too much."

"This is my grandson. What's wrong with me spoiling him a little?" Jude retorted.

Elder Scott did not argue with Elder Jude but turned to look at Jacob: "Your strength is much weaker than the others, so you have to work harder. I heard Nina mention you, saying that your foundation is relatively poor, but you work hard, so keep it up in the future."

"Don't worry, Grandpa," Jacob nodded in response.

"Good, but don't be too stressed. Just keep your mind focused and calm. Don't rush things," Scott gave Jacob a few more instructions. "Take a rest this afternoon and tomorrow. If you still want to train, I can ask Nina to give you extra lessons."

"Grandpa, I actually want to visit your laboratory this afternoon," Jacob said after a moment of thought.

In fact, he had always been interested in Scott's laboratory and wanted to learn more about it. It would be best if he could establish a connection, which would make it easier for him to research and publish mega evolution, Z-crystals, and Dynamax in the future.

When Jude heard what Jacob said, she smiled. The Lin family was famous for scientific research. She was very happy that Jacob had such an interest. She quickly said, "I heard from Zoe that you've always aspired to be a Pokémon researcher and want to apply to Capital University. Well, I'll have Lewis take you to visit the laboratory this afternoon."

Scott frowned slightly. Bringing outsiders to visit the laboratory was actually against laboratory regulations, but Elder Scott felt a sense of responsibility toward Jacob and Zoe. Besides, this laboratory was originally established by him. No one would say anything if he made an exception for Jacob. "I'll take Jacob with me this afternoon. Lewis is at a critical moment in his research recently, so it's not convenient."
