For Tsunami, it was a sensitive matter.
She found herself lost in thoughts of the past.
(Past)
"Daigo, I love you," - Tsunami.
Daigo had been Tsunami's crush since childhood. In many ways, he was like the present-day Sasuke — talented, cool, and handsome. He had the basic aptitude to become a ninja, and, being the son of a ninja himself, he was born into wealth.
Like most girls in the village, Tsunami had admired him from afar. When she officially became an adult, she finally gathered the courage to confess her feelings. To her surprise, Daigo accepted, and the two began spending time together.
However, Daigo had a reputation — he often entered relationships only for physical intimacy. After getting what he wanted once or twice, he would usually leave. Tsunami knew this, yet she still chose to date him, believing she could be the one to change him.
Just two weeks into their relationship, Daigo asked to sleep with her. At first, she refused. But when he said he would be leaving the village for a year, her resolve broke, and she gave in to his request.
The result of that night was Inari.
(After one year)
After a year had passed and Inari had already been born, Daigo returned.
Tsunami immediately went to his house with their child.
But Daigo was busy with another woman he had brought from overseas.
Tsunami knocked on his door again and again, and after fifteen minutes, Daigo finally opened the door.
"What do you want, Tsunami?" - Daigo
"Daigo, why are you doing this? Look, this is our baby." - Tsunami
"What baby?" - Daigo
Tsunami kept trying to convince Daigo, but he didn't listen to a word she said and said a lot of cruel things about her character.
Tsunami returned home crying.
"I told you not to get involved with him. He's a playboy. He just wanted to use you and take your innocence," - Tazuna
"Now, who would want to marry someone like you? You'll never have a family, just this boy whose father used you and ran away," - Tazuna.
Soon after, Gato came to the village, and Daigo joined his group.
(Present day)
Tsunami started crying.
(Night)
I asked Tazuna about Inari's father and learned everything.
