"Brat! This is a B-rank jutsu, the Earth Flow River! The ground beneath your feet will turn into a flowing river of mud, sweeping you away until the jutsu ends. You'll be trapped in the earth!"

Shishio didn't refuse, but he made it clear that if Kai was unwilling, he would still support the boy's decision. After all, it was just a jutsu, and Shishio trusted that the Third Hokage would respect his stance.
"Go, summon Mitarashi Kai."
The Third Hokage instructed a masked ninja at the window. The ninja, wearing a cat-faced mask, appeared briefly before vanishing.
"Lord Hokage wants to see me?" Kai asked, looking at the cat-faced masked ninja before him.
"Yes, Lord Hokage has summoned you. Please follow me." After speaking, the ninja leaped onto a nearby rooftop and turned to look at Kai.
"Why does the Hokage want to see me? Is it because I passed the academy exam, or is it about the Rasengan technique? Whatever, Uncle Shishio will handle it."
Kai dismissed his doubts and followed the masked ANBU ninja with a swift leap.
