Tanjiro, having used Flowing Dance twice, arrived in front of the siblings a second after Ryuji's attack, shielding them from further attacks by the {long-tongued demon}.
"Are you alright? Quickly go to that white-haired older brother!" Tanjiro turned to the siblings.
The siblings were still in shock and didn't follow Tanjiro's instructions.
The girl cried incessantly, and the boy was too frightened by the severed tongue to react.
At that moment, an angry voice came from the forest: "Damn it! My tongue can't heal!"
Then, the enraged {long-tongued demon} crawled out of the dense forest—crawled, not walked—creating an eerie feeling.
The {long-tongued demon}'s already hideous features looked even more terrifying with its ferocious expression.
