Human curiosity was an insatiable thing. Normally Tristan loved that aspect of humanity.
Afterall many of the greatest inventions in the world had come from people being curious.
The ironing board, cars, elevators...as well as countless other things. Those had all come from people having questions, and not being satisfied with just one answer.
People who had never tired in their search for the truth until they found either the answer they wanted or they made something that gave them the answers they wanted. That was the kind of curiosity that Tristan appreciated. What he did not appreciate however was when people were too curious about him.
