"Are you waiting outside again?" Kai shrugged his shoulders, "This is an order." He said with a smile, they looked at each other in confusion and left him alone.
Shouldn't this be a common sight for now, why do they still keep asking why I didn't enter the dungeon. Do I have to keep explaining the reason to them?

"No way." Noah frowned.
He was really stubborn for a thirty-year-old man.
Kai sighed, he stood up and then took Noah's hand. The man quickly withdrew his hand, but Kai grasped it tightly enough that Noah's hand was still there.
"Oh damn, I'm an Esper but why is he so strong?" Noah muttered.
Kai pulled Noah up and made him sit on the chair in front of him.
"Let it go."
"Shut up, I'm guiding you." He said with his head down, his other hand busy playing with his phone.
Noah was still pouting, he was still upset that Kai hadn't apologized. It's a trivial matter but his pride is too high to say sorry to a boy four years younger than him. And Kai is making excuses by saying what they did was guiding Noah to make Noah forget their fight? Huh. How childish.
"Sorry.."
The word made Noah turn his head to Kai who was still looking down. The boy's ears as well as the back of his neck turned red, Noah stared at the red tinge and he smiled a little. Ah, it was easy to persuade me, wasn't it?
"What are you doing?" Noah asked, trying to look casual after hearing the word come out of Kai's mouth. The word he wanted to hear.
Kai turned around with his face still red, he showed his phone.
"Choose," he said softly, on the screen of the phone were several kinds of sandwiches of various sizes. "We can order them online, and they'll deliver it to us."
Kai was holding his head right now, he didn't know if he could afford to give in so easily to Noah. Of course since he lost the argument, Noah was much more stubborn than him.
He checked his watch, there were ten minutes left from Noah's estimate. This was a newly opened dungeon with level AAA+, Kai pressed another button on his floating screen, he entered the data about the AAA+ dungeon there. Periodically in there Noah sent him information about the conditions, monsters present and more. It was entered into the database so that every time this dungeon reappeared one day, the Esper on duty could understand what they should do.
Noah has always been the first Esper sent to all new and unidentified Dungeons.
Kai sighed, what he read a few days ago in the office still bothered him.
"What is the meaning of subject experiment no. 003? Why was Noah labeled with that number?" He muttered to himself as he continued typing on his floating screen.
There were many unanswered questions, Kai searched the OAK guild library and even searched all the data stored in the OAK guild. Nothing. He didn't get anything, except data that could only be accessed by officials like Knox.
And why doesn't he have psychic powers while Kai as a Guide senses that there are other powers besides Noah's fire power? Why didn't the research center do further research with the power that was inside Noah? There's no way those expensive and advanced devices won't detect it.
NOAH MILES, HAS BEEN ACTIVATED INTO AN IMMORTAL COMBAT ESPER.
"Immortal combat esper? What does that mean? He can't die?" Kai mumbled for the umpteenth time, his head completely full with curiosity.
A Guide came out from inside the black sphere, she was from the same guild as Kai. They both awakened in the same month, but Kai was one week earlier.
"You've been left behind again." Said the petite woman with black long wavy hair and bangs that covered her forehead. Large eyes with long lashes, full lips and a rounded chin smiled with a sneer. Dominic was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt combined with a short skirt above the knee. She looks pretty like always.
"Why are you out already?" Kai asked Dominic who stood beside him and opened her floating screen.
"There's nothing I can do there, your esper finished off all the monsters and ordered the other esper to search the core only." She said while typing on the floating screen, giving a report.
"Which means, he's working alone again." Says Kai.
Dominic shrugged her shoulders, "He refused to be helped. Maybe he thinks the other Esper is just bothering him."
Dominic is an AA+ rank Guide, to be precise, the first female Guide with a high enough rank. So that she could become a Guide for other high rank Esper. Kai turned to Dominic, he touched the woman's hair without any hesitation.
"Oh, you're still wearing the earrings I gave you." He said then.
Dominic lifted her hair up with both hands, exposing her neck and ears. Similar to Kai, she also wears a lot of accessories on her ears.
"I'm still wearing everything you gave me." The woman said, raising her head to look at Kai.
The man smiled broadly as he stroked the top of Dominic's head, "Good, good."
"KAI."
The voice made Dominic and Kai turn their heads together. A voice that didn't sound friendly and tended more towards anger, Noah looked at Kai. He stood in front of the black sphere with his body covered in purplish patches from the monster he killed.
The surprised Kai immediately approached him, "Wow, you look so messy. Let's go home, this is your last task for today."
Noah glanced at Dominic who was staring at him from a distance, "Hold my hand."
Kai frowned, "But you're fine, everything still looks blue when I checked it and there's no sign of..."
"Hold my hand." Noah said again, interrupting Kai's speech while giving him an annoyed look.
Kai sighed and held the man's hand.
Noah turned to Dominic and gave the woman a death stare.
"Dom, I'll go first!" Kai said as he waved goodbye to the petite woman.
"See you at the guild office!" Dominic exclaimed, she leered at Noah with a small smile.
The two people simply disappeared, Dominic chuckling on the spot while humming cheerfully before all the Esper on duty in the Dungeon came out one by one along with their Guides.
