sadistic , cruel laugh echoed through the door, a sound that sent a chill down their spines . " Do n't you want to play? But the game has already begun, humans. And you ... are the pieces."
The door shuddered with an even more violent slam , threatening to give way to the invisible force attacking it. CRACK ! The wood creaked , splintering around the lock.
" We have to get out of here ! " Laura screamed , panicking , " Now !" She grabbed Ethan 's hand and ran to the window, desperately searching for a way out .
The window was tall and narrow, with iron bars protecting it from the outside. Useless . Laura looked around frantically , searching for another way out, but the door was the only possible route . And Greed was on the other side, blocking their way, proposing a macabre game of which they knew neither the rules nor the consequences.
Another violent blow shook the door, splintering the wood around the lock even more . It was about to give way. Greed was about to enter.

"Fine, humans," hissed Greed , entering the room with a swift, menacing gait , "Let's see if you know how to play ... Greed." And with a swift, cruel gesture , he threw a handful of gold coins onto the floor at Laura and Ethan's feet, sealing the beginning of his deadly game.
