Daisuke's eyes narrowed upon hearing the results. He didn't expect them to actually rank him higher.
'Ugh~ this is very annoying.'
Pulling himself up from the ground, he walked off the platform, conscious of Instructor Itou's gaze.
"Kuramoto Daisuke."
'Here it comes.' He thought dryly.
"You performed well. I won't say much except train harder."
'Huh?'
He raised a brow, surprised by the Instructor's short remark. She didn't even try to correct his mistakes. Or, perhaps, was it because she saw through the deliberate mistakes?
'What a load of... emotional burden.'
He thought, silently leaning on the wall while Instructor Itou called the next person.

Sebastian chuckled as he stepped on the platform, his cloak flapping behind him. Hoisted on his waist were two sleek black old-model guns—an odd weapon for an Awakened.
Across him, a purple sentinel powered up, loaded its crossbow, and turned to him.
"Combat Mode - Level 6. Engaging."
