Aswa moved swiftly through South Kembangan High School's grounds, effortlessly vaulting over the school fence while avoiding the watchful gaze of security guards. His breathing steadied, footsteps light as shadows dancing across the school walls.
Empty hallways bore witness to his presence. He walked cautiously, trying to blend in, but fate had other plans.
"Ow... Watch where you're"
A female student froze mid-sentence, eyes widening at the sight of Aswa. Instantly, all attention focused on him. Students exchanged glances, whispers spreading "Who's that?"
Aswa didn't wait. He dashed upstairs toward a strangely quiet area filled with mysterious graffiti. Black banners hung from the ceiling, tattered flags adorned the walls. An old sofa sat abandoned in the center.
"Hmm... No sign of their leaders. What's going on?" Aswa sighed, dropping onto the sofa to assess the situation.
Three students entered moments later, oblivious to Aswa's presence behind the sofa's high backrest.
"We're stuck like this every damn day!" one complained.
"Right? This is supposed to be the golden age of delinquents, yet we're trapped in school!"
"If we hit the streets now, we'd just get crushed. Real tough guys are out there!"
"True. We're losers before we even start!"
"But we're part of the district leader's faction. Who'd dare mess with us?"
One looked up bitterly. "Tch... Even our bosses won't move. The boss still lazes around!"
"Our school's known for strong fighters. Weaklings go to Meruya Selatan!"
Snickers erupted. "Huwahuwahuwa, so true!"
"Speaking of... Where is the boss?"
"In the infirmary. Sleeping while listening to sad songs like some heartbroken kid!"
Aswa absorbed every word. His gaze shifted toward the infirmary building.
BAM!
The door burst open. The three students jumped to their feet.
"What now?"
Five guys rushed in. "There's an intruder!"
"Intruder?"
"Yeah, my junior saw him. Said he's... kinda handsome?"
Their eyes scanned the room, finally landing on Aswa still lounging on the sofa.
"So you're the guy, huh?"
[Infirmary – South Kembangan]
Two beds occupied the room. One held a sleeping figure, the other Kille, their leader had a pillow over his face, melancholic music leaking from his earbuds.
His lips stayed sealed, but then he bit them gently, as if chewing on bitter memories.
[Flashback – Kille & Pillie's Childhood]
"Waaah... waaah..."
"Shhh, don't cry, Kille, Pillie!" Their mother cradled the twins.
"Congratulations! Two healthy boys!"
"Thank you, Sus!"
Three months later.
Toys littered the floor toy cars, robots, dolls. But one always caused fights: Kille's favorite guinea pig plush.
Whenever Kille held it, Pillie, his elder twin, would snatch it away.
"I had it first!"
"No! It's mine!"
Their mother always intervened. "Enough! Kille, play with something else, okay?"
Years passed. Pillie became popular, always surrounded by friends. Kille often played alone.
One day, Pillie invited friends to a new park.
"Big bro, can I come?" Kille pleaded from behind their mother.
Pillie frowned. "No way. I'd just have to babysit you!"
Without another word, Pillie left.
Mother patted Kille's head. "Play with me instead, okay?"
But she was busy. Eventually, Kille went alone.
At the park, he met a little girl. They built sandcastles together, laughing brightly.
Days repeated this routine until news spread: child kidnappings.
The girl was forbidden from going out.
Yet for Kille's sake, she sneaked out.
Meanwhile, Pillie played soccer at another park.
THUD! A powerful kick "Pillie, that's toward the goal!"
But the ball veered into bushes.
"Go get it!"
"Kicker fetches!"
Grumbling, Pillie pushed through the bushes. Mosquitoes swarmed, but he ignored them.
As he retrieved the ball, something caught his eye a white van.
His friends had vanished. Only bicycles and sandals remained.
"Guys... where'd you go?"
