Zack closed his eyes not wanting to see when it would happen. But suddenly there was a man in front of him. Diving with him. Zack was amazed. The man reached out, pulling Zack into his arms. Zack suddenly felt a tight but gradual arc as they began to glide. The man then twisted around holding Zack from under his arms as he beat his huge wings to slow them.
Slowly Zack's feet reached the floor and he began to run as the man let go suddenly Zack tumbled and landed on his back but at least alive.
"Woah, woah, woah! Forget to grow some wings or something. How dread-fall!!! Eh eh?" The demon spoke with a charming grin on his lips.
"Charming…" Grim chimed in as he rested a hand on Zack's shoulder. "Thanks for your help, sir." Grim smiled as he offered a handshake to the man. The demon looks to his hand and cocks his head to the side. "Oh right!" He yelped before taking Grim's hand in his and simply raising it.
Grim was visibly confused but brushed it off before speaking again. "Well, me and my friend are looking for the closest town. Know where that is?"
"Well of course? Demonio Purgator, born and bred Urian." He grinned as he patted Grim on the arm in a hearty chuckle.
This man was stunning, visually attractive, it felt ironic to say this was a demon. Suppose the saying devils were luring by looks wasn't just from thirsty TV shows. He was around 6.2 feet tall and a rusty red skin tone with a slight accent similar to German. He was likely older than Zack too just by the amount of facial hair that followed his immaculate jawline. Demonio had a black undercut, his fringe free falling but the rest in a tight and neat bun. He had two impressive horns in the most stereotypical area possible; the top of his fore head. This man however was definitely competing in strength with Grim.
Both men were shaped by childhoods of labour by the look of their arms alone. Demonio on the other hand, had a natural feel about him. Like a man who knew his strength, but rather joke and have fun than live a solitary life like Grim.
"Was in fact heading there now. I don't mind being your compass."
"That's brilliant. Thank you, sir!" Grim smiled and De awkwardly laughed. The lack of a soul made him feel sarcastic but Demonio brushed it off.
"No need for titles! De is fine. We are all friends under the mother, right?"
