Deep within one of countless voids, a dark twisted soul could be seen glowing with dark light and a twisted purity that didn't seem to fit its nature.
The soul had no conscious, no will of its own as if it were some failed experiment tossed to the void like a failure, and in the void, it was to remain, at least that's what should have been.
*Crack*
A rift manifested not far from this soul, and from this rift, golden eyes looked upon that twisted soul as a voice began to speak.
"My my, what a twisted little soul you are, how beautiful~" The voice was like a dark melody, and from the rift, hundreds of hands made of darkness poured, wrapping around the soul, shaping it and changing it, and in no time at all the once void black soul was different.
The darkness was now surrounded by an outer shell of light blue mist that seemed pure, curious, and naive to the world.
"You will do so many fun things, little one, so good luck, don't die, and meet me in the world above if you can~," the voice said before another rift opened behind the soul, and the shadow hands pushed it through the other side leaving that void empty once more.

On the other side of the void, the soul hovered in the air for mere moments before it began to tremble in place, taking a physical form in the shape of a young boy around 12. His skin was a chestnut brown, his hair white like the purist snow and as the body touched the ground, bright amber eyes snapped open, taking in the world for the very first time.
The boy took a sharp inhale, visibly drawing in oxygen, and then released an equally deep exhale as he stood looking around and touching his face.
"Who am I?" He wondered as beside him was a puddle, which he looked into with wonder, seeing himself for the first time.
He would never forget this face... This was him, he was it, he was real...? This was all something he wasn't certain of just yet, but he felt real at least; maybe that counted for something.
"Hehehehehe, maybe not..." He giggled to himself when a voice echoed in his mind.
"You will do so many fun things little one, so good luck, don't die, and meet me in the world above if you can~" ??????
"What was that... an upper world? I wonder where that is..." The boy muttered a grin splitting his face with genuine curious joy.
Suddenly, his arm shifted into a large shield-like shape made of bone, blocking a pounce from a strange beast that attacked him from the brush.
"Oh? What are you?" The boy wondered as his arm returned to normal, and he grabbed the beast with his bare hands, somehow pinning it down.
"I have so many questions to ask you~," The boy said, the beast struggling against his grip as he smiled at it with glee.
"Let's go see how you work!" He said, dragging the beast, and as the beast tried to pull away, the boy tugged on it, tearing off its hind leg with ease, causing the beast to roar in pain.
"Oh no, you broke before I could learn," The boy said, and the beast swiped at his face in a last-ditch effort to escape, only for the boy's skin to harden, rendering the blow irrelevant.
*Snap*
The arm of the beast seemed to break on impact going limp as the boy frowned.
"Why did you do that? Can't you see you're hurting yourself?" The boy questioned, looking at the beast's pitiful state before looking at his hands and narrowing his eyes as his arms shifted and morphed before returning to normal.
"Haha, so cool~" the boy muttered, somehow instantly losing interest in the dying beast in front of him.
"Hey, kid! Get away from that...Tiger?" A man shouted, coming from behind the boy as he saw the tiger's pitiful state.
"What the hell happened here..." The man muttered looking at the boy who was staring at his hands with childlike glee.
Raising his shotgun, the man aimed at the tiger and fired, killing it off as he tapped the boy's shoulder. The boy looked up at him still smiling as the man spoke.
"Hey kid what are ya doing out here all by yourself?"
"I don't know, I just woke up here..."
"Well, what's your name?" The man asked, looking to make sure no other animals were stalking them.
"What's a name?" The boy said standing up and looking up at the man who sighed.
"How come you speak perfect English yet don't know what a name is?" He asked incredulously.
"What's an English?" The boy asked, his stare blank as the man face palmed.
"I'll tell ya later, for now, let's get you gotta this jungle...and get ya some clothes too." The man said before leading the way through the jungle brush followed by the ever curious and nameless boy.

"Hey guys Pa is back from hunting!" A young girl shouted as a group of people came out from a shelter made of bamboo with a water wheel along the side of the house in a river bed that seemed to have dried out.
"Yo Pa what'd you catch this time round?" An older boy spoke as a woman came out of the house behind him.
"Daniel, you ain't get hurt out there, did ya 'cause I just patched you up not long ago," the woman spoke, hands on her hips.
"Pa! Pa!, I caught a snake earlier today!" A little boy about the same age as the girl from earlier said holding up a dead snake as the man chuckled.
"Great job, Sam, my boy, you done did well," The man smiled, holding his shotgun in one hand as he and the boy high-fived.
"And Beth, I ain't get hurt today, so no need to worry yourself, honey, I promise." The man said.
"Tom, I had caught me some Lantern deer down by the ole Thorn Bark Tree; I have them bleeding out right now. We'll go get them for dinner tonight." He said to the older boy who nodded.
Then the man crouched in front of the little girl, "How papa's lil princess?" He said as the girl named Lily giggled, hugging him as he laughed, then he stopped just as he remembered.
"Hey Tom, go get some of your old clothes and toss 'em here." He says, and after a few minutes, Tom comes back tossing over some of his old clothes.
The man then walked into the brush again and after a few more minutes he returned this time with a young boy who stared at them his eyes wide and an unnatural amber in color as Beth narrowed her eyes.
"Now Daniel i don't remember you mentioning you kidnapped someone's child out in those woods" she said as he deadpanned.
"I ain't kidnapped no child Beth, I found the boy on my way back, a dying tiger not far from him. Kid doesn't even have a name for himself so I brought him here" Daniel said as his wife sighed.
"Poor boy, who could leave their child out in the woods like that?" She said as Sam ran up to the boy holding up his snake.
"Hey look what I have!" Sam said grinning his mouth missing a tooth as the boy smiled back.
"Cool, what is it called?" He asked as the two crouched around the dead snake, Lily looking on with disgust.
"It's not cool it's nasty!" She says as suddenly Sam picked it up and chased her with it the boy following as the older people looked on speaking about what to do with this kid.

"Oh my, you already found people? I can't wait to see you develop more little one~" a voice from the void thought to itself as things were only just beginning.
