MYTHOS OF HELIOS
In the beginning, there was only the Flow 'Uud', the primal breath that stirred before even time. From its formless rhythm came forth the First Flame, and from that flame emerged the Eternal Thrones....those we now call Gods.
The first to awaken was Ymir, born from dream and void, who gazed into the mystery beyond all things and beheld The One God, a presence that neither formed nor faded. What Ymir saw was too vast for even gods to hold, and so he wept, and from his tears came the lands, the stars, and the many races that now walk Helios.
In the age before memory, the Gods walked freely among mortals. They taught, loved, warred, and raised great wonders. Yet their presence warped the world...Uud overflowed, and chaos threatened to swallow all creation.
It was then that Ishmah, the First King and a son of both heaven and earth, stood between the Gods and the dying world. With a voice touched by divine breath, he called the gods to a summit atop Mount Elvanor, where a great Treaty of Peace was forged.
The Treaty of Elvanor forbade the gods from shaping mortal fate directly.
In return, the Three Races, Elves, Humans, and Dwarves would carry forward the burden of choice and destiny.
Ishmah himself was granted the Crown of Equinox, an artifact woven from Uud, symbolizing balance between realms.
Thus began the Age of Separation, where the divine withdrew beyond the Veil, and the world was left to kings, queens, and quiet miracles. Temples were raised to honor the memory of the gods, and stories passed through firelight and song to keep the truth alive.
Yet, it is said:
"When Uud floods again and the stars return to earth, the Veil shall tear, and the Treaty shall break."
PROPHECY OF THE FINAL CONVERGENCE
Among the many wonders lost to time, none are spoken of in such hushed reverence as the Isle that bears no name.
"From a place untouched by time or sin, the King of Equinox was born beneath the tree whose roots hold the sky."
The scribes of Elvanor record no map to it. The stars turn away when asked. Some say the gods themselves dare not walk its shores since the Treaty was signed. Others claim that from this isle, the One God first breathed upon the world....and the breath became Ishmah.
Old sailors call it The Cradle of Morning; monks in shadowed monasteries call it The Womb of Flame. But none agree where it lies… if it lies anywhere at all.
A single line survives in the Dead Tongue of the Old Priests:
"When the Flame returns to eye of Ymir, the garden shall open once more."
