Chapter 41 - Discussion of governments

As keshav and jasmine enjoyed their day. On the other side claire and scientists called a meeting of player association and military.

Claire and the scientists presented the crystals to the military and the player association, explaining their properties and how they could be used to protect cities from dungeon breaks as well as new material formed from its use. The military and the player association were impressed by the potential of the crystals, and they immediately began to discuss the terms for purchasing them.

The military representatives said "This is a valuable material and the barriers are very powerful. We will definitely purchase them. But we need to ensure their safety and security. How can we ensure that no one can misuse them?"

The scientists told them that the crystals could only be made by those with the reality weaving awakening and used by breaking them.

The military representative was impressed by this and said "Even better this way we can have more control over selling them. How much are keshav and jasmine willing to sell each?"

Claire said "Keshav and Jasmine have not set a price for it. They said to hear a good offer from you for it as the product is very unique and powerful and there's no one like them in the world and they said they can provide as many as needed to every country."

The military representative was surprised by this and said "They must think highly of their product. But they're right, there's no one like them in the world. With these crystals, we can ensure the safety of cities from dungeon breaks. Okay I have a offer for a 1 million crystals for 10 million dollars for a year."

Claire said "I forgot to tell you that these barriers are permanent"

The military representative was even more impressed by this news and said "Even better, they're permanent. That means we don't have to keep purchasing them every year. We're willing to offer 20 million for a lifetime."

Claire said "I think you should call your higher ups to discuss it with keshav and jasmine"

The military representative nodded and said "You're right. I'll call my superiors and discuss this with Keshav and Jasmine. We can't just make a decision like this without their consent."

The military representative left the room to make the call and discuss the offer with his superiors. Claire and the scientists stood by, waiting patiently for a response.

After a few minutes, the military representative returned with a stern face and said "We have discussed this with our superior and they have agreed to increase the amount to a 50 million dollar offer for a lifetime."

Claire was surprised by this new offer but tried to remain composed. "That's a significant increase from the previous offer. What did they say about the safety and control of the crystals?"

The military representative said "They said that they will make sure that the crystals are stored safely and that access to them is restricted to only authorized personnel. They also request that keshav and jasmine sign a non-disclosure agreement on how the crystals are made and the use of them."

Claire nodded and said "I'll inform keshav and jasmine about the offer and the non-disclosure agreement. I'm sure they will consider it carefully after all they are the only ones who can make these crystals.''

The military representative nodded in agreement. "Please do convey our offer and the Non-Disclosure agreement to keshav and jasmine. We are very interested in their product and hope to come to mutually beneficial agreement."

Claire nodded and called keshav to tell them their offer in front of him

Claire: "Hey keshav, the military is offering 50 million dollars for a lifetime for the crystals and they want you to sign a non-disclosure agreement on how the crystals are made and how they are used."

Hearing it keshav was angry and said "Are they taking us for beggars. Even houses of some rich people are more than that. We are basically giving them infinite supply of these permanent barriers to every country and you expect to obtain it for mere 50 million"

Claire was surprised by keshav's outburst and said "I understand your frustration keshav, but you have to understand that the military is not a charity organization. They have a budget and they're offering a significant amount of money for your product."

Keshav said "Then just discuss it in parliament. We want 1% of taxes every year of every country we will supply these crystals to."

Claire was shocked by keshav's demand and said, "Keshav, this is not a joke. You're asking for 1% of all tax income from every country you supply the crystals to. That's an insane demand, they'll never agree to it"

Keshav said "Tell them they want to give 1% of taxes or let monsters from dungeon breaks level their cities to ground. Which one will be more expensive."

Claire was stunned by keshav's straightforwardness but also secretly a bit impressed by his audaciousness. "I'll tell them that. But I can't guarantee that they'll agree to your terms."

keshav replied, "I don't care. I believe they'll agree to my terms because without the crystals, they won't be able to protect their cities from the monsters. They have no other option but to comply with my demands."

Claire nodded, reluctantly agreeing to keshav's demand. "Okay, I'll tell them your terms. But I have a feeling they won't be very happy about it."

keshav responded with a confident smile, "Good. They may not like it, but they'll have to accept it if they want the crystals. And i am sure they will want it. besides, it's not like they can get them from anyone else."

Then claire told everything to military representative who told it to his superiors. It passed on until it reached parliament.

The news of keshav's demand spread quickly through the halls of power and soon reached the parliament. The politicians were shocked by his audacity but also intrigued by its potential. They gathered together in secret backroom meetings to discuss the matter.

The debate was heated, with some arguing in support of keshav's terms, seeing them as a fair price to pay for the permanent protection of their countries. But others were more skeptical, concerned about the long-term effects of giving such a significant portion of their tax revenue to a single individual or group.

Soon this news reached other countries as well and they held a combine meeting to decide on it.

The news of keshav's offer and demand spread like wildfire, reaching the ears of politicians, officials, and military leaders in other countries. They were alarmed by the potential implications of the demand, and so they quickly held a combine meeting of all the world's countries to discuss the matter. The meeting was held secretly and discreetly, with an air of urgency and seriousness.

The meeting room was filled with representatives from each country, all of them tense and worried. The discussion was heated, as each country vied for their own interests. Some wanted to agree with keshav's terms, seeing it as a way to protect their citizens. But others were indignant and wanted to reject them outright, not wanting to give such a massive percentage of their tax revenue to keshav.

Then someone asked "India's representative, had you tested the crystal."

The Indian representative nodded and replied, "Yes, we have tested the crystal and found the barrier formed on breaking the crystal is incredibly strong and effective at protecting against dungeon monsters. The crystal even disappear after making barrier eliminating the possible weakness. It would certainly be a game-changer in terms of safety and security, but... the terms that he has placed on it are quite exorbitant. 1% of all tax income of every country that he supplies the crystal to, is no small amount."

The Indian representative continued "The dungeon we used it on was in a remote desert. After dungeon break we even dropped a nuclear bomb on it. But the barrier was not even scratched"

The room was suddenly filled with a collective gasp. The Indian representative's words sent shock waves through the room. The thought of a material being able to withstand a nuclear explosion was mind-boggling.
