Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 : Fallen

"A church in devil territory, filled with fallen angels too… How interesting."

Richard smiled as he glanced at the fallen angel floating in the sky.

"Human, what are you doing here?"

Dohnaseek smiled with amusement as he observed the strange human. He knew that no ordinary human should be able to notice his presence so easily.

"Oh come on, I'm just sightseeing."

Richard shrugged and answered casually. He had sensed the presence of several fallen angels and the smell of blood coming from the abandoned church, so he decided to check it out.

"But damn, that guy smells awful."

Richard continued, glancing at a tree.

"Probably a devil sent him to investigate," he muttered.

From behind the tree, a white-haired exorcist appeared with a crazed grin.

"Dude, your smell is disgusting. It's the kind of stench you'd expect from a low-tier villain," Richard commented as he looked at Freed.

Richard had a certain sense—he could more or less tell whether someone was good or evil. The moment he saw Freed, he frowned at the darkness emanating from the exorcist.

"Hehehe, I'm gonna cut out your tongue," Freed said, licking his sword.

At that moment, a group of other exorcists appeared and began surrounding Richard. He simply ignored them and continued.

"How did a simple sightseeing trip turn into this mess? You all reek—it's honestly hurting my nose. Even those two up there—beautiful, but the stench is unbearable, especially that blonde one."

Richard glanced up at the church rooftop, where Kalawarna and Mittlet stood, watching him with curious eyes.

"Enough nonsense!"

One of the exorcists shouted and fired his gun at Richard.

"Whoa there, so aggressive~."

Richard leaned down to dodge the bullet, one hand in his pocket while the other picked up a branch from the ground.

An exorcist rushed toward him, thrusting his sword—only to be stunned as the branch in Richard's hand suddenly glowed and transformed into a sword.

Richard sidestepped the attack and countered with a clean slash, slicing the exorcist in half.

Seeing how easily he killed someone shocked the others. They decided to overwhelm him with numbers.

"Get him!"

One of them shouted, and around twenty exorcists charged at Richard.

But Richard easily dodged all the attacks with movements that looked like he was dancing. At the same time, he countered with swift, deadly slashes—cutting them down one by one.

Watching from above, Dohnaseek couldn't help but frown. This was the first time he'd seen a human fight like this.

Especially the sword in Richard's hand—he could clearly feel it was a holy sword. He didn't know the name, but it was undoubtedly the strongest holy sword he'd ever seen.

'Damn it, was he sent here by the Church?'

Dohnaseek narrowed his eyes as Richard massacred the exorcists. Then, gathering light energy, the fallen angel formed a spear and hurled it toward Richard, hoping he wouldn't notice it amidst the chaos.

As the light spear flew toward him, Richard casually turned, caught it mid-air, and threw it back—straight at Freed, who was trying to sneak away.

The light spear pierced through Freed's chest, killing him instantly.

Dohnaseek and the two fallen angels were stunned by Richard's move. Their leader was away on another mission, and now they were stuck with this monster.

Seeing that Richard had almost wiped out the entire group of exorcists, Dohnaseek panicked and shouted toward Kalawarna and Mittlet:

"Attack him together! Otherwise, we're dead!"

He then formed another light spear and flew toward Richard. Mittlet followed from the rooftop with her own light spear.

Kalawarna, however, just collapsed to her knees. After witnessing the massacre, she realized—even if all three of them attacked, it would be meaningless.

So she did nothing and silently prayed that Richard would show her mercy. Compared to the others, her choice was clearly smarter.

And she was right—Richard easily killed both Dohnaseek and Mittlet with single slashes.

"Oh? Why didn't you attack me?"

Richard said nonchalantly after finishing them off.

"Smart move not attacking me~ I really was just sightseeing. Didn't expect to be surrounded like that," he continued cheerfully as he floated up to the rooftop.

Kalawarna felt a glimmer of hope. Since she hadn't attacked, maybe he would spare her.

"So—" she began, but Richard interrupted her.

"But… you saw everything. I can't just let you go. You'll have to die here too."

Hearing that made Kalawarna fall into despair.

"I'll do anything! I can give you information! You can do whatever you want with my body!"

Kalawarna pleaded in panic, hoping he would take an interest in her body and spare her life.

Richard rubbed his chin thoughtfully, then spoke:

"Tell me everything you know. Why are you here in devil territory?"

"We…"

Kalawarna quickly told him everything—Raynare's plan, and even about Asia's upcoming arrival. She confessed it all, desperately hoping to survive.

Richard nodded, finding the information valuable. He never really intended to kill her—he just wanted to scare her into talking or use her for something.

"Good. What's your name?"

"K-Kalawarna, sir." she replied nervously.

"I'm opening a café. You'll be working for me."

Richard said simply. After all, he would need staff to run the place. If Mittlet hadn't been so stinky, he might've hired her too.

"…Yes."

Kalawarna breathed a sigh of relief, grateful to have escaped death.

"Now let's deal with the remaining fallen angel~."

Richard said as he jumped down from the rooftop.

"Ah, but first let's clean up the bodies."

"Yes…"

"Richard."

"Yes, Richard-sama."

"Ah, I killed a lot today~ Even if each one gave few points, with enough I can still roll for a Gacha~."

"Is something wrong, Richard-sama?"

"Nothing. Hey, do you know how to cook?"

Meanwhile, in a park somewhere…

Issei fell to the ground, one leg injured. Panic and confusion filled him.

In front of him stood Yuuma-chan—the girl he had just gone on a date with. She held a glowing spear and had just told him she was going to kill him.

All the beauty and joy he saw in her collapsed into despair.

Yuuma raised the spear, ready to end Issei's life—but suddenly, she couldn't move.

More precisely, her body was suddenly sliced in half—just like Gojo Satoru. Raynare collapsed, her organs and blood spilling everywhere. She herself didn't even understand what had just happened.

Even Issei was confused, unable to grasp what was going on—until he fainted from blood loss and the horrifying scene he had just witnessed.

Not far from there, Kiba and Koneko were just as confused as Issei.

Suddenly, Raynare raised her light spear—and then her body was split in half, just like Gojo Satoru.

"What just happened? Kiba-senpai, did you see that?" Koneko asked.

"No… What the hell just happened?" Kiba replied, equally baffled.
