"You guys are here!" Oris smiled when he saw Cail, Iven, and Joel through the door.
Oris was wearing branded head to toe with logos plastered all over his pants and shirt. He was sucking on some lollipops and had cross earrings in his left ear. That cool get-up would have been more convincing if it wasn't for his shifty, nervous eyes and slouching back.
Looking at a spirit board, the skeleton displayon the side, and the cards on the table, Cail had a bad feeling. "What club is this?"
Hearing his question, Oris smiled happily, "This is the Supernatural Club!"
"I'm out," Cail said, but he was jumped by Iven and Oris.
Cail pushed them away. He looked at Oris in disbelief, "You could have made or joined any club, but why this club?" Finally, he couldn't hold it anymore, "We already have five Supernatural Clubs at school. What more do you want?"
Oris felt a bit embarrassed at the mention of that, "Well, this is different from others! This is the real deal!"
"Real deal? That's more reason I don't want to!" Cail felt very stupid at this moment.
"Uhmm..." A shy voice sounded from the side.
Iven looked at the girl sitting on the table. He suddenly pulled Oris closer and whispered, "Oh, where did you find such a cute girl?"
Oris looked at Iven as if he's a pervert. He pulled himself away and introduced the girl behind him, "Her name is Sirae. She's originally from the photography club, but she's more interested in supernatural."
Iven fixed his clothes and made sure to give a perfect smile, "Hello, Sirae."
Sirae looked about terrified. Cail looked at her, she resembled a rabbit — cute but easily spooked.
Sirae had a short bob hair, doe eyes, small nose, and a pinkish cheek. She looked lovely and fragile. A look that could easily arouse men's protective instinct.
Feeling excited, Iven became more invested in this club because of the beautiful girls, "Who's the other member? Are there any other girls?"
This time Oris looked awkward, he seems to hesitate before saying, "Uh... We have Diran—"
"Diran!" Iven was shocked. He looked at Oris in disbelief, "Why did you let that lawless guy in?"
"Well, he was interested." Oris averted his gaze.
Cail wasn't fooled by that excuse, "You're the leader, right? You could have refused."
"It's not nice to turn someone down," Oris insisted.
"Oi, you're scared of him?" Cail knew Oris very well.
"Who's scared? Me?!" Oris tried to act tough, but it's obvious, even to people who didn't know him well.
Now Iven was a bit apprehensive about this club with Diran inside. That guy is the synonym of bad student. There's no way they could rein someone of that caliber.
"Who's the other member?" Iven could only hope that the next person is a normal guy.
But looking at the stressed-out Oris, Iven had a bad feeling.
Oris whispered, "I don't know his name... But he looked like a g-good guy."
Iven went silent, but he tried to keep his enthusiasm. He patted Cail's back, "Hahahahaha! That's alright! Isn't the meaning of a club is getting to know each other?"
Cail gave up. He let Oris register their names into the club.
Oris was happy, "Welcome to the Immortal's Supernatural Club!"
Cail sat down, "What's up with that name?" It sounded embarrassing.
Oris didn't think so, "I think it's cool."
Cail scribbled on some paper, "Tacky."
Not minding Cail's criticism, Oris was very happy.
Looking at Iven and Jael getting to know Sirae, Cail looked at the ceiling. He was bored. Usually at school, he always turned off his manipulative streak. What's there to scheme here? Most students are basically floating.
I wanna screw some people...
The door suddenly burst open.
"Hello guys! Leader, did you miss me!"
Cail looked at the newcomer. It's Diran.
Oris looked off the moment he saw Diran, but he still tried to talk, "Ha..hahahaha. Hello, Diran. Glad that you're here. Let me introduce you to—"
Diran suddenly smacked Oris's back and laughed, "These are your friends, right? Nice to meet you!" If you don't know his history, you would have thought that he was just a happy go lucky guy.
Oris looked hurt by the smack, but he still tried to look tough. Cail tilted his head at Diran.
Wild, arrogant, and full of himself. He's wearing a black sleeveless shirt, pedal pants, and he had his school uniform hung on his shoulder like a towel.
Weird tattoo on the right shoulder and a pentagon tattoo peeking on his chest. He smelled like smoke and sweat. His ears were filled with stud earrings, and on his tongue was a small black piercing.
Looking at him and looking at Oris, Cail couldn't help but click his tongue. Diran's vibe was what Oris wanted to go for. Unfortunately, he couldn't copy aura.
Iven introduced himself, "I'm Iven." Then he pulled Oris out from Diran's clutch.
Diran nodded, still smiling. He pointed at Cail, "And who's that sunglasses guy?"
"That's Cail." Iven doesn't want to talk with Diran anymore.
Diran walked towards the table. He bumped into Jael; it looked very deliberate. Diran had a fake shocked look on his face, "Oh my! I did not notice you were there! Jael, right? Ilira told me about you. You're a good guy."
Jael looked pale. He was glaring at Diran in anger.
Ilira? Isn't that Jael's girlfriend? Iven noticed something. Then, it finally clicked. Diran's bad streak flashed in his mind and he guess what's happening. he shielded Jael behind him. He pointed at Diran, "You! Leave here! We don't welcome you here!"
Diran wasn't fazed. He looked at Oris, "Leader, I'm not welcome here?"
Oris had no idea what's going on. He looked at Iven in confusion, "Iven, what's up?" Although it was obvious that Iven doesn't like Diran, it's not in line with his personality to confront Diran about it.
Iven was fuming, "That guy stole Jael's girlfriend!" It wasn't the first time that he did this kind of thing.
"You call that stealing? If she was Jael's, then there's no way she's that easy to fish," Diran said, smirking.
Oris was torn between both sides. He hesitated for a moment before confronting Diran for his friend, "Diran, I think you should leave."
Diran didn't budge. He walked towards Oris. Diran was a tall man. Although Oris wasn't short, his slouching and insecure gaze made him fall short when it came to intimidation.
"Leader, you agreed to let me join, right? Since I'm already in, don't think about letting me leave."
Oris gritted his teeth, "So you joined us just to make a mess?"
Cail sat there looking at the spectacle. Damn, that escalated quickly.
He put down the notebook that he was hugging as he stared at Diran. Now that's a tough guy. Cail's eyes glowed from excitement. You better be as tough as you show you are.
Arrogant people are Cail's favorite. While he is not actively malicious to them, if the fun was poking him, it would be rude not to respond.
This Diran better be a good chew toy.
