Chapter 3 - Meeting friends

After a few moments, Clark sat down, trying to process everything.

"So, in this world, Lex Luthor lived with his grandfather here in Smallville. Thinking about it, I remember hearing somewhere that Lex and Clark were childhood friends. Now, this situation is dangerous and, at the same time, an opportunity to get rid of a dangerous villain. If I kill him now, I'll get rid of a dangerous villain and a bitter enemy."

Clark internally decided to eliminate Lex Luthor at this time. Clark was somewhat afraid of this world. If we think of it as a real world, it's a very dangerous world full of dangerous entities that could destroy the world at any moment, and his greatest fear was that he would cause the destruction of the world due to his weakness.

Clark got up from his place and went to his room upstairs. The room was located near the end of the hallway. He opened the door and entered.

"Now, how do I get rid of this person? I must observe the situation first, then prepare the plan." Clark decided to wait some time until the opportunity arose.

Three days later, at a school supplies store, the Kent family was in the middle of the store, trying to buy the best things for their young boy. Clark stood looking at the pens, papers, notebooks, and books on the shelves.

"Am I really going to learn the alphabet again? Damn it, just thinking about it makes me nauseous." Clark grumbled as he looked around. At first, he wasn't interested, but now, flashes of his previous school memories made him utterly unhappy.

"Are you bothered by the idea of studying?"

Clark looked at the voice and found a teenage boy wearing a short-sleeved green shirt. He had long red hair and a white face full of pimples. There was something about him that made a person uncomfortable.

"I don't know, I'll try and decide."

Lex looked at the child in front of him and thought, "A smart kid shouldn't judge a place without experiencing it. Who knows what things might happen in this place."

Lex went towards a pile of notebooks and books and took many notebooks. "What's your name, kid?" Lex said as he looked at Clark while holding the notebooks in his hands.

"Clark Kent, and you?"

"My name is Lex Luthor."

"It's him! Should I kill him? Should I kill him...?"

"Clark, do you want anything else?" Martha called out to Clark, and when he looked at her, she was holding a small school bag decorated with a picture of one of the Disney princesses.

"Mom, that's for girls." Clark felt embarrassed by the matter, as he was now facing his future nemesis.

"Oh, really? I'll choose another one."

Returning to Lex, Clark looked at him and was surprised by the number of notebooks. "You're hardworking, aren't you?"

"Ah, yes, but these aren't for studying."

"Then why?"

"I'm going to write my diary, everything that happens in my day I will record."

"Even this meeting?"

"Yes, even this."

"Wow, but aren't you afraid that others will see your thoughts? I mean, what if what you wrote gets lost and someone finds your diary?"

"Hmm, you gave me an idea, well done. I will invent a new language so that nothing stupid happens."

"A new language?"

"Yes, never mind now."

Lex headed towards the seller, paid the money, and then left. Before he went far, "Clark, take this." Lex gave him a ten-dollar bill.

"What? Why are you giving me money?"

"You gave me the idea to create a special language, so I'm giving you the money."

"But I didn't do anything!!"

"I'm not giving it to you for your person, but for your idea. In the end, I don't care about the person, but about their idea."

Lex left, leaving Clark holding the ten dollars. "Are geniuses always weird?" Clark ignored the matter and put the money in his pocket, thinking, "Free money, heehee."

...

After the family finished shopping, they went to buy clothes. In the car, Clark was thinking about Lex's personality and how he would kill him. Deep inside, Clark decided to get rid of him, and their meeting reinforced this. "This kid is smart, in fact, he is one of the smartest people in the world, so killing him will be very difficult."

Meanwhile, the car moved around Smallville. It was the Kent family's Ford Ranger, and Clark was riding in the front with his mother. In a moment of silence, everyone heard a loud explosion and gunfire. Instantly, a sports car sped out. Clark felt fear from the sound of the guns; he hadn't gotten rid of his fear of the matter. His experience of almost dying from bullets had created a kind of fear inside him. A group of police cars were following the car. Clark glimpsed three people riding in the car. Clark couldn't look at them for long because they moved very quickly and disappeared in the blink of an eye, with the police behind them.

Jonathan had stopped so as not to collide with the police who passed in front of him. Meanwhile, there were people talking while standing on the sidewalk. "This is the third robbery this month." "When will we get rid of this?" "Are they robbing in Superman's city? They asked for it." Clark was eager to catch the group, but he decided to leave it for a while until he got the right opportunity.

...

Several days later, it was Clark's first day at kindergarten. The kindergarten consisted of a large learning building with a garden containing some games. Inside the building, there was a group of children running around the place, and Clark was sitting playing with blocks.

"This is very humiliating." He thought as he built a small castle out of blocks. While he was like this, a little girl about Clark's age approached. She had light brown hair and blue eyes.

"Can you help me?"

"What's wrong?" Clark looked at the girl with annoyance. He was annoyed by everything.

"When will this body grow up, for heaven's sake?" Clark thought.

"Actually... my toy is lost. Can you help me find it?"

"Where did it get lost?" Clark was annoyed by sitting and playing without doing anything, so he decided to help the girl anyway.

"Come with me, I remember putting it in my bag, but now I don't know."

"Maybe you forgot the toy at home?"

"No, I'm sure I brought it with me."

"Yes, yes." Clark decided to help her anyway.

He started searching the shelves. According to the girl's description, the doll was a stuffed teddy bear, completely white except for the nose and eyes. This was the description the girl gave him.

"Let's use some speed." Clark moved faster and searched the shelves. The kindergarten was quite large for a child and also spacious. He searched everywhere until he found the bear thrown behind a tree in the garden. He picked up the bear and went inside, where he found the girl searching.

"I found the bear, is this it?"

"Ah, yes, thank you..." The girl ran and took the bear from Clark's hand and hugged it tightly. "Thank you for finding it." She said with a smile.

"You're welcome." Clark felt embarrassed by the matter, but he liked the feeling. The feeling of helping other people. He was thinking that he had discovered the reason for the existence of superheroes. It wasn't about beating bad guys and monsters, but about helping when we can.

"Right, what's your name?" The girl asked while holding the bear.

"Clark Kent, and you?"

"My name is Lana Lang." She extended her hand for a handshake, and he shook it too.

"So this is Lana," Clark thought.

...

In the evening, in Clark's room, while he was sleeping in his bed, he was thinking about the events of the day. "I met Lana Lang and Lex Luthor. These two people have a significant impact on the life of the Man of Steel, so they will have an impact on my life too. But they are not of equal importance. For example, Lana Lang is just a sweetheart to him, so in my case, she won't be very important, maybe a childhood friend, but that's all. As for Lex, this is the dangerous person. Even if he's just a teenager, who knows what he can do."

"Wooo wooo stop, it's the police, wooo wooo."

"Wooo wooo wooo wooo."

Clark's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of police cars moving quickly. Clark got out of bed and looked out the window, seeing a group of cars chasing a small truck.

"Do they need help?" Clark smiled as he looked at the scene in front of him.
