Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The Key to Freedom

Elias pulled away first,Not because he wanted to But because if he didn't, he might never stop. Sera's lips were swollen, her breath ragged, her body pressed tight against his, And when she opened her eyes**gods help him**she looked wrecked.

Because of him,Because of that kiss, Elias clenched his fists, fighting the animal urge to drag her back in. To claim her all over again.

But a single whisper in the air shattered the moment,"She is not yours to take."

The voice was everywhere, Deep, Cold, Mocking,Sera gasped, her nails digging into Elias's arms,The room shuddered.

The shadows in the library twisted, curling unnaturally along the walls,And then he appeared.

The man from the mirror, A figure of darkness and power, dressed in sharp black, his presence like a living void.

His red eyes burned with something dangerous, Something hungry,Sera's past was staring right at her.

Elias stepped forward, blocking Sera with his body,His silver eyes burned with fury, his voice sharp. "You have no claim to her."

The man smirked, his presence commanding."Funny," he mused. "She was mine before you ever touched her."

Sera's blood turned to ice,Memories tried to surface whispers of a love she didn't understand, a devotion that felt... twisted.

The man turned his gaze on her then, and her breath caught,Because when he looked at her, it wasn't just with desire, It was possession.

"I have waited long enough, Sera." His voice was low, velvety, curling around her like a spell. "It's time to come home."

A shudder ran through her, her pulse roaring in her ears, Home?? Somewhere deep inside, something recognized the word

Elias's body tensed, his magic crackling in the air,"You will not take her."

The other man laughed, slow and dark. "You think she is yours?" His head tilted, amusement flickering in his crimson gaze. "Then why does she still feel me?"

The words sent a shockwave through Sera, Because she did,The lingering touch from last night, the whisper in her mind it had been him.

Elias's power surged,The fire in the hearth exploded, books tumbling from the shelves as the entire room trembled.

"I will kill you before I let you have her," Elias snarled,But the man only smiled,And then, he was gone.

Just like that.

The shadows recoiled, the temperature in the room returning to normal. Sera swayed, her breath still unsteady.

Elias turned, grabbing her arms, his grip borderline bruising,"Do not listen to him." His voice was raw, desperate, "He is trying to break you."

Sera swallowed hard, her hands shaking, "But he's right."Elias's expression twisted, pained.

"I still feel him," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper, "And I don't know why."
