Chapter 39 Continuing the Journey
They slept soundly through the night, still in the hastily created room from before, and woke up at almost the same time.
The sky brightened at that very moment, which felt a little unsettling to the two who had irregular sleep schedules.
However, this bed passively possessed the effect of restoring stamina, and they didn't consider sleeping in bed for a little longer. This bed even produced a repulsive effect during the daytime, preventing them from continuing to sleep. It could be considered incredibly magical.
Fang Bie looked at the toothbrush and towel in front of him, and couldn't help but feel grateful for their arrival.
Heaven knows what it was like when he was alone before, barely able to rinse his mouth. In any case, he never wanted to go back to that time.
He didn't have any Mods for making clothes. Before leaving this World, he could only wear the set of clothes he had when he first arrived in this World. That feeling of discomfort could probably only be understood by someone who hadn't showered for a month.
Fang Bie finished his unprecedented morning wash with great emotion. Ethan had already quickly prepared breakfast for them.
They had bought enough Food and Seasoning on Earth, and even prepared things like Pots. It was a pity that Electrical Appliances couldn't be used, but the appearance of this Frying Pan brought him great comfort.
Because the Furnace was extremely simple to use, they only needed to place different Pots above the Furnace to heat the Ingredients inside, no different from Roasted Meat. Putting a hand above the Furnace, however, felt no Temperature at all, just like Stone.
Being able to drink hot Porridge in the morning made Fang Bie feel a deep sense of happiness. Why are my eyes always full of tears? Don't ask, just know that I have a deep love for this land.
Of course, it wasn't that exaggerated. After all, they had enjoyed a luxurious Life in Iron Man's Villa for almost a month. Fang Bie quickly recovered. The two casually rinsed the Bowls and Chopsticks by the Waterside and began planning today's Itinerary.
This was also an obsessive habit left over from Fang Bie's previous time playing the Game MC. Because when he played this Game with his Friends, if there was no plan, they would wander around aimlessly, not knowing what to do.
This kind of thing happening mostly meant that he would be spending another day in the Mine. No matter when he saw the Mineral on the Ground, he couldn't help but take out his Pickaxe to dig. This one dig would last a whole Day.
Because of this, he forced himself to customize such a planning measure, which could make good use of every Day's Time, thus avoiding the sequelae of his crazy Mining.
"There's still a lot of Wood in the Box, and a few pieces of Glass in the Furnace. I'll build the House first. The previous Room can be used as a Warehouse!"
Ethan quickly decided what he was going to do today. Fang Bie had no objections. Anyway, the House would have to be expanded sooner or later, so it was better to do it early, and just build his Cabin as well.
"Ethan, how about you help me build the House? And take care of the Plant in the Field. The Plant inside should be ripe in the past two Days!" Fang Bie said.
"Okay, I'll pay attention to taking care of them. If they ripen, I'll notify you when you come back." Ethan wasn't very familiar with this kind of thing, but it could be seen that he was trying hard to adapt.
"Well, that's good. Before you build the House, you'd better build a circle of Wood Fence first. I'll tell you the range later. After all, if any Monster comes to your side, it will be troublesome."
Fang Bie didn't forget to guard against Monsters this time. "You'd better prepare a few Torches and insert them into the House at any time. This can also effectively reduce the chance of Monsters spawning in the Darkness."
Ethan held a Pencil in his hand and carefully recorded everything. Neither fountain pens nor ballpoint pens could be used now. Only this kind of Pencil made of pure graphite could still be used.
Perhaps it was because of Coal that Pencils could still work well. Fang Bie thought that if he could make some Industrial Products in the future, he could synthesize Pencils specifically for this World.
"Basically, that's it. You can leave anything you don't understand and wait for me to come back and talk about it." Fang Bie recalled what he had said slightly, and after confirming that there were no omissions, he picked up his Sword and put on his Iron Armor.
"I'm going to look around to see if there's anything new, and also see if I can drive a few Chickens back to raise. It's impossible to put all Food Hope on planting crops. That's not very realistic."
Fang Bie explained to Ethan what he was going to do. Division of labor and cooperation was the way to live a long Life. This was originally the way to conduct oneself.
Ethan was not a talkative person. After hearing his explanation, he nodded slightly and buried himself in his own Matter.
Fang Bie had spent a lot of Time with him, and he was used to it. He left the synthesis method of the Wood Fence, and piled up a few pieces of Soil in the Corner, indicating the range of the Wall, and then left here.
In a few strides, he jumped down the Mountain. Looking back at his House, due to the previous expansion by the three of them, the originally small Hilltop had become like a Hanging Garden suspended on the Mountain Top.
Only a section near the front of the Mountain was connected to the Ground. As for the section behind the Mountain, it had been extended quite far, with a small House and all kinds of Field on it.
Fang Bie slightly confirmed the direction and walked forward along the River. He had basically never walked this road before, and hoped it could give him some surprises.
In the previous explorations, Fang Bie hadn't even completely explored this Forest, so he didn't know what was waiting for him.
But his Iron Armor gave him enough courage. At least in the Daytime, he wouldn't be in any danger.
Fang Bie walked very fast. After all, he was not an Ordinary Person. He was a Steve who looked like an Ordinary Person. Walking along this River all the way forward, he soon found some Things he had never seen before.
"Pumpkin? Good stuff, I can go back and make Pumpkin rice, or synthesize Pumpkin cakes. They are all very good Food!" Fang Bie took out an Iron axe and chopped down a few Pumpkins.
This Plant would grow in some Corners of the Forest or on the Mountain Slope of the Grassland. It was not particularly rare, but if you were unlucky, it would be difficult to encounter.
Just going out and having a harvest made his Spirit perk up. Fang Bie quickly raised his head, wanting to see the shadow of Watermelon.
However, Watermelons are mostly produced in Rainforest areas, and they are basically not produced on ordinary Ground. Occasionally they are found together with Pumpkins, but he didn't seem to have such luck.
"Then let's pick some Mushrooms and take them back. Mushroom stew is a very good thing to replenish Food and Stamina." Fang Bie muttered to himself, knocking down all the Mushrooms under the Tree.
At this time, at Home, Ethan was placing some Souvenirs they had brought back before. Tony especially valued their Things.
He solemnly opened the oil paper package. It was a display Box made of Glass, and on it was displayed something like the one on his chest—the Ark Reactor!
"This thing wasn't destroyed, it's really a Miracle!" Ethan sighed slightly, and put the Box on the Shelf aside.
