Location: Room No. 13, SCB Medical College, Cuttack
The ceiling fan above spun like it was trying its best not to quit the job it hated. The white hospital walls had more cracks than Satya's confidence.
Satya lay flat on the rusty metal bed, limbs sprawled like an abandoned schoolbag during summer vacation. His face? Emotionless. Like he had just watched the ending of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in reverse.
From the corridor outside, a nurse screamed:
"Are you mad?! Who brings biryani next to an oxygen cylinder?! This is a hospital, not a wedding!"
Inside, silence.
Then suddenly—
"Helloooo! Wakey wakey! Or should I drop that fan on your face for a quick reboot?"
Satya shot up like someone had poured cold sambar on his back.
"WHO'S THAT?! WHO'S TALKING?!"
"Relax, Romeo. I'm not a ghost, nor your tuition teacher here to ask for pending fees. I'm your system guide. Divine-level freelancing assistant. Half-time cosmic intern, full-time sarcasm distributor."
The air around him shimmered with a soft blue light. And then he appeared.
Floating mid-air in full swag — legs crossed like a baba, wearing a bright yellow dhoti, golden-rimmed sunglasses, and sipping a coconut with a straw like he owned a beach shack in Goa.
"Hi! Name's Oorja. Your personalized divine assistant, version 1.0 with built-in emotional damage detector. And yes, I'm real."

Satya blinked. "Wait… wait wait wait. What? Death?! Just because of one task?! What kind of illegal startup are you running?!"
Oorja shrugged, coconut in hand. "Simple rules, my dude. Divine internship. Complete the task, you live. Skip it, and we start planning your spiritual retirement party."
He mimed slicing his neck and stuck his tongue out like a cartoon.
Satya just stared, deadpan.
"You're telling me… I'm part of some divine scheme now?! Bro, I was watching yoga videos on YouTube last week!"
🧿 FLASHBACK – The Jungle Trial
Oorja's face grew serious.
"The Forest saw what no one else did. While others ran, you stayed. While others mocked, you listened. When danger came, you didn't cry for help. You closed your eyes… and surrendered to truth."
He floated closer.
"And that's why you were chosen. Not because you're strong. But because, deep inside, your soul refused to bow."
Satya looked down.
The small pendant with the 'ॐ' symbol around his neck glowed softly, as if finally waking up too.
Oorja's voice turned gentle.
"You are now bound to the Divine Contract. The Hell Gates are opening. The world needs balance. You are the chaos before the storm, the mistake that destiny needed. Welcome to the game, beta."

Satya groaned. "Limiter? Strength? Bro, I can't even lift a water can without emotional support."
Oorja sipped louder. "You are the water can now. And the lifter. You're the entire gym package, bro. Now move it."
Satya collapsed back onto the bed.
"Do I at least get weapons? Trident? Sword? Maybe a glowing staff with sound effects?"
"Weapon? This isn't Dragon Ball. You are the weapon. But first… lose that double chin."
He flicked open a divine tablet in the air. A fitness chart appeared. It had graphs. Very sad ones.
"Also," he said with a dramatic pause, "reduce your sugar intake. Your bloodstream looks like a Pepsi factory exploded."
Satya gasped. "What! I only have two rasgullas a day! Maybe three… for bhakti reasons!"
🛕 Elsewhere in Bharat...
Deep beneath the earth in the ruins of Madhavgarh, the land cracked open.
A giant stone cracked apart. Flames erupted. Lightning struck a dead tree, which screamed. A massive creature emerged.
Tall, covered in golden ash and bones. On his head: a twisted crown made of burnt skulls. Behind him, a massive elephant of iron and fire stomped the earth.
"WHERE… IS THE PURE SOUL?!"
The Bone Tyrant had awakened.
🎭 Back in the Hospital
Satya wiped his face. He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror.
His cheeks? Slightly thinner.
His chest? Less like a potato sack. More like… well, a less saggy potato sack.
"What is happening to me?"
Oorja floated beside him, smiling.
"You're changing, Satya. That's what happens when fate stops ignoring you."
Satya gave a tired smile. "Fine. But before I face evil monsters and burning elephants… can I at least have some Maggi?"
Oorja smirked, raised his coconut, and said:
"No Maggi. Only destiny. Let's go."
