Jin Woo and Na-ri were exhausted by the time the wedding ended. They had smiled, bowed, and thanked everyone—from Chairman Kang to Jin Woo's family members. Their feet ached, their cheeks hurt from too many smiles, and their hearts were still trying to catch up with the reality that they were now married.
As the last guests finally left, it was just the two of them left standing there with Minji and Mun. Minji looked completely worn out, her makeup slightly smudged and her head starting to tilt with drowsiness.
Na-ri quickly said, "Mun, please drive her home. She looks so tired."
Mun nodded, gently guiding Minji by the elbow. Soon, they were gone, and it was just Jin Woo and Na-ri again.
Jin Woo turned to her, his voice warm. "I called earlier. The house isn't ready yet. The furniture isn't all in, and the setup isn't complete. So I thought… we can just stay here tonight. Then tomorrow morning, we leave for Jeju."
