The passersby dispersed, and Su Wan watched the police car go away. She patted her chest with lingering fear, not yet able to catch her breath when she felt a weight on her head, a shadow looming from behind, followed by a clear, familiar voice—
"I didn't expect my Wanwan to have such a hidden side."
Su Wan turned around abruptly. Fu Weiheng stood behind her, his forearm leisurely resting on her head, his eyes deep and clear.
In that instant, Su Wan felt her legs go weak and she collapsed directly into his arms, still shaken: "…Scared me to death."
Fu Weiheng raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing at his lips. It turns out this seemingly brave little lamb can still be frightened.
He duly wrapped his arms around her, softly asking, "Are you hurt?"
Su Wan, buried in his chest, shook her head and then looked up at him: "Did you see?"
Fu Weiheng raised an eyebrow, confirming silently.
