Chapter 7 - "Why does that matter?"

Harry's face was covered with the being's cat blood, Harry has little to no reaction at the being's head exploding, it healed back immediately anyways.

Harry grabbed his shirt and wiped the blood off of his face, staining his perfectly clean white shirt.

"Oh it matters."

The being says.

"Let me give you an example so you can understand."

The being suggests.

"Sure, why not."

Harry agreed, he didn't have much of a choice either way, even if he had said no the being would still proceed to explain.

"Imagine there are two army camps, let's call them Army A and Army B respectively. Both are on the opposite sides of a rough terrain, no artillery or mortara so they would need to fight in the harsh terrain with guns."

Harry simply nodded his head, listening closely.

"Army A has around 100 soldiers, and Army B has around 1,000 soldiers. Army A being my mana amount and Army B being your mana amount."

"Who do you think will win?"

The being asked Harry.

"Well Army B would win, the number advantage is too big."

The answer was completely reasonable and logical, the difference is really big and without taking other factors into account it would make sense for Army B to win.

"Your answer is logical, but then let's add a few factors. What if Army A had state of the art weapons and armour, having proper health, food, shelter, cooperation, synergy, in order, proficient and well aware of the terrain and well organized. While Army B lacks proper health, food, shelter, weapons, and no order, unaware of the terrain they are fighting in, lacking communication so chaotic that they do more harm to themselves then they do to the enemy each time they fight."

"In such a situation Army A, though having a disadvantage in numbers are more likely to win the fight if they are careful."

"When you inhaled the mist, my mana entered your body, your mana saw it as a threat and tried to eliminate it, and it did eliminate it but due it being so chaotic it also eliminated itself in the process."

"Is that why any spell I cast always backfires?"

"Yes, you can't control your mana properly."

"Is there a way for me to learn how to control my mana?"

Harry asked.

"Beats me, I was born like this so I can't really help you train."

Harry looked down dejected.

"But if you want I could teleport you to people who could teach you."

"Really?"

Harry asked, clearly suspicious.

"Yes, really."

"Then take me to them."

"Very well."

The being clapped its cat paws as the two teleported into a classroom. The being was now inside Harry's head, making an isolated place where Harry's mana wouldn't reach him.

Harry looked on in awe as he gazed upon the old man infront of him, an old man with thick and long white facial hair, old face, wearing your typical wizard hat and also holding a wooden wand.

"I-Is that, Gandalf?"

🤨

"Huh? Who?"

The being asked Harry, confused.

"Don't you know Gandalf?"

"Listen Harry, I don't know any Gandalf Fandalf you are talking about."

"Then who is that?"

Harry asked the being inside his mind.

"Oh, that's the great wizard Bandalf the Bald."

😐

"Bandalf who?"

Harry asked.

"Bandalf the Bald, he wears that wizard head to his his bald head."

"😐, my disappointment is measurable and my day is ruined. Why kind of knock-off Gandalf is this!?"

"Do you really think we can afford the actual the actual Gandalf? For copyright reasons-
