"Julius! Come down for breakfast!" A small boy could be seen rushing past a door while heading down the step which led to the first floor of the apartment.
When he reached the floor he quickly headed to the kitchen and there he found a black haired woman washing dishes while humming.
When she saw the young boy her lips widened with a soft smile, "Hey there Adam your breakfast is on the table!" Upon hearing this the boy rushed towards his mother with a happy smile hugging her tightly.
"You're the best mom!" He said before heading towards the dining table where he found a plate of rice and curry with beef waiting for him which he happily devoured.
While he was eating a tanned skin man with curly long brown hair came down from the step, his figure was lean and he had a handsome face with hazel eyes.
"Good morning, Senior brother Julius" Adam greeted upon sighting his brother alight from the steps but Julius didn't reply only heading towards the kitchen yet Adam wasn't concerned he was used to his brother acting like this.
"Good morning, Julius!" His mother greeted him as he entered the kitchen, "Morning, mother" Julius greeted back with a curt bow making her chuckle. Her son always acted a little bit aloof like he had come from an old time but it always brought smiles and laughter to her face.
"Your breakfast is on the dining table" She said as Julius noded his head, "Care to Join me for my morning feast, my queen?" He said his legs crossed and his fingers streched towards his mother making her chuckle.
"I would have loved to join your feast my king but I'll have to decline your request my King because I am currently busy" His mother said bowing curtly playing along.
"Okay then I'll leave you be" Julius said as he went to the dining and began eating, While he was eating he noticed his brother peeking at him but ignored it he knew what would happen if he were to ask him his reasons.
"Brother Julius, I really don't understand why don't you want to become a hunter? You even awakened as a mage class with gravity magic... So why do you hate the idea of becoming a hunter so much?" Adam questioned his brother Julius who continued eating ignoring what his brother had said.
"Ever since the former hero Sung-Jinwoo turned on us everyone's life had become a living hell, he spawned portals and sent his unkillable shadow minions to do his bidding eventually killing all the S-Ranked heroes here in Korea including his own wife!" Adam explained his tone heavy as he carried on but Julius wasn't moved he was now currently sipping a glass of water before he continued munching down on his food.
Currently the world was in shambles after Sung-Jinwoo for unknown reasons had turned on the very people he suffered to protect, According to public information he had killed all the S-Rank heroes including his own wife but Julius wasn't concerned about that he had already done more than enough the last time and he was tired of the war life, he just wanted to relax without witnessing too much blood.
"We need all the hunters we can get at the moment yet here you are wasting away important talent" Adam continued with his justice speech yet Julius seemed undisturbed taking the last spoonful of the curry rice and beef.
"Haaa... Young Adam you will not understand my reasons for not wanting to become a hunter, I'm no hero neither am I someone who balances evil or good I'm just a regular person who was given something he never wanted" Julius for the first time replied his brother who stared at him trying to understand what his seniro brother was saying.
"...You're saying that being an awakened which is a dream for most people is something you never wanted?" Adam repeated trying to understand what his brother was saying, it was unbelievable for him to believe that someone actually opened their mouths and said something like that.
"Unlike you who wishes to become the strongest hunter all I want is to be a normal person and live a simple life I wish you success and pray for you to awaken as a strong hunter" Julius said before walking towards the kitchen to ditch his plates.
"I'll be heading out!" Julius said as he stepped outside his apartment, he was met by the faces of unfamiliar people well the only people he was familiar with in the first place were his family.
"There's nothing like an afternoon walk, the human life seems to be a grace I needed but I didn't know I did" Julius mumbled grateful that he had decided to pass on his title and power to another even if it meant people were dying he didn't care one bit.
As he continued walking he heard a sound come from a dark alley from there he could feel some type of distortion in space, "Nope" he said as he continued walking forward when suddenly a holographic screen appeared in front of him.
